If Tenorio is not drunk walking across the road this accident never happens. The designated driver was drunk jay walking on a very dark night wearing all black. Do you think you would see him?
If Carlos had not been HAMMERED that night AND had his headlights on AND been driving at a resonable speed this accident never happens....

He is simply postponing the inevitable. No way he gets off on a BS "Legal Tricks of the Trade" technicality. The fact that he is shooting for that, speaks volumes. This reminds me of the Ted Kennedy Chappaquiddick affair. Uncle Teddy was well on his way to the White House to fulfill some of Joe Kennedy's dreams, when a night on the town and too many screwdrivers and driving, caused him to drive off the bridge. I believe he tried to dive to the car and save her, but could not, and instead of phoning the police, he phoned his advisors? He eventually pleaded to a lighter sentence, but it ruined his high Presidential hopes. Same thing with the Fierro mess. This rich boy/trust fund baby with the Law Degree, Armani Suits, rich daddy, and Presidential Rolex was making all the right Political Connections (McCain) for some type of run in the next few years, either for Congress or the Senate. I imagine that Daddy and some of his buddies probably told him if he doesnt beat this, his Political Dreams of Senatorial Power, and sexy blondes hanging off his chubby arms for Inauguration Balls in DC, will be permaently dead. And thats what he is thinking in the photos where he is wearing the Prison coveralls.
What ever happened to the human trafficking charges that the Fierro parent(S) were indicted on _ 2006/2007 smuggling people for cash from Latin America???

Your a Jack @$$! If Fierro wasn't two times the legal limit drunk he would have seen anyone walking across the street. Perhaps then, just maybe he would have stopped and helped instead of running like a baby and then crying about it later. Use your brain!

Unfortunately, fierro is using the interpretation of the law for his benefit and searching for loop-holes to slither out of this crime-scene. It makes a person wonder why a POS like fierro ever went to Law school. Surely, it was not a honorable motive and he truly believes he is above the laws here in NM. In my mind, I cannot even conceive how this creature of the cess-pool can even close his eyes each night and sleep sound. However, that is not my postition to figure what makes for sleazy people...

If you knew the Tenorio family personally you would understand the impact this has on his children. Mr. Tenorio and his children were abandoned by the mother who is now with an 8 time DWI convicted offender. The children are faced with the harsh reality that not only did they lose their mother to a DWI offender but now their father? It is truly and overwhemingly sad especially when you personally have to witness the trauma his children are going through. Justice needs to be served to get all DWI offenders off the streets.

Everyone is entitled to a defense per our constitution. Do not blame the attorneys for being good at their jobs. Fierro went to jail.

It really is beyond me how lawyers like Jason Bowles and BJ Crow and Bob Gorence can even look at themselves in the mirror. I mean, ok, we know Carlos Fierro is a drunk, and a killer, and we know Alfred Lovato is a hard-core alcoholic who was driving drunk for years before he got caught, but one would assume that Jason Bowles and BJ Crow and Bob Gorence have some sort of conscience. And yet it seems they do not.
