To Fierro and your attorneys...and anyone standing behind you: You are nothing but scumbag losers without a conscience. What a shame that you are pulling the c rap that you are pulling.
It's who you know around these parts, and Fierro's politico buddies are doing all they can to get this creep off.

YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED. What an embarrassment!

I just lost a son in a different way. How dare you Fierro and his lawyers. You took a life, you took someone's father from them. This is wrong. Why should it make a difference what a nurse says, he's still guilty. He can't just walk away on a mistrial. If the city of Santa Fe doesn't have the "n---" to prosecute this sinner, then they are responsible for the innocent persons death also. No, no, no, no, he doesn't have the right to walk. What will he do, get out and move and set up law and keep making money someplace else till he kills someone else. Fierro, I hope God is watching because he will not let you go unpunished. You're evil and cruel. What would you expect that nurse to feel anyway. It's sick and disgusting that a person of the courts does this, RUNS from the scene of the crime WITH a law enforcement officer with him, and to top it off is getting away with it. I used to claim Santa Fe as my hometown. Not any more!!!!!!! Disgusting and horribly unfair.

"Here we have a nurse who is obviously biased," Gorence told the judge. "She hates us. She doesn't like Mr. Fierro."

Hmm somebody who hates killers and the lawyers who try to get killers off free? I can totally relate to the lady and why she hates these types of people!

He is simply postponing the inevitable. No way he gets off on a BS "Legal Tricks of the Trade" technicality. The fact that he is shooting for that, speaks volumes. This reminds me of the Ted Kennedy Chappaquiddick affair. Uncle Teddy was well on his way to the White House to fulfill some of Joe Kennedy's dreams, when a night on the town and too many screwdrivers and driving, caused him to drive off the bridge. I believe he tried to dive to the car and save her, but could not, and instead of phoning the police, he phoned his advisors? He eventually pleaded to a lighter sentence, but it ruined his high Presidential hopes. Same thing with the Fierro mess. This rich boy/trust fund baby with the Law Degree, Armani Suits, rich daddy, and Presidential Rolex was making all the right Political Connections (McCain) for some type of run in the next few years, either for Congress or the Senate. I imagine that Daddy and some of his buddies probably told him if he doesnt beat this, his Political Dreams of Senatorial Power, and sexy blondes hanging off his chubby arms for Inauguration Balls in DC, will be permaently dead. And thats what he is thinking in the photos where he is wearing the Prison coveralls.

Make it easy Fierro - Plead Guilty and get it over with. You know you screwed up royally and nothing will get you out of it. Do your time and get it over with. Be a man and accept what you did and take the responsibility. You killed an innocent man....

Anyone wonder if the nurse has been paid for. Why make comments that may cause a mistrial. He will walk and the nurse will help to just that.

ridiculous is that? the nurse was not paid. Get real. you ask why make comments like she did? She doesn't know the law and when she made that statement,'MISTRIAL" wasn't on her mind. She was speaking from her heart. She was speaking out of fustration that Fierro was not showing remorse for the man he just killed.

All this smoke and mirrors action won't change the fact that Fierro killed Tenorio, and none of us will forget it, even with a postponement. This slug is guilty guilty guilty.

Another pissy baby boomer nurse who thinks her mouth means more than facts is going to sink the case. Don't sink the case, Heidi, because you're about to if you don't remove your head from the dark place.

Vigil is a threat to public safety, REMOVE VIGIL.

"The trial originally was set to begin Sept. 8, but the judge agreed to a delay. The trial is scheduled for Sept. 21-25, Sept. 28-30 and Oct. 1."

The trial was only postponed for a few days. What's important is that the judge threw out most of the defense's motions! Yes!!!

Exactly Right! What idiots these guys are. Does Fierro really think that anyone but the obvious idiots who follow him think he's a good man? No Fierro! You know, I actually felt sorry for your parents at first but now I don't. If they support you and all this BS you are pulling to try and get out of killing a man then they are scum too. Your disgusting Fierro. And yes I have two son's and a daughter. I would do anything to protect them. But there is no way I could protect them from doing something this stupid. And I'll tell you what, had they ever done something like this, they would have had the good sense to stop and render aid to the hurt individual. You make me sick Fierro!

Wow, wow, wow....Vigil is the WORST judge ever! I hope he realizes that when he comes up for re-election we are all going to remember his decisions and how they effect our community. I also hope someone gives some serious counseling to the nurse before she totally causes a mis-trial and allows Carlos to murder again!

Such a pathetic case!

At least Vigil threw out some of the garbage from the defense team. But I don't like the postponement, and we're not being told why.

As a healthcare professional for many years, I am really, really bothered by a nurse flubbing legal testimony. "Having to deal with numerous tragedies...causing her anger and frustration" is certainly true, but no excuse for taking it out on anyone else, not to mention a legal matter. Part of professionalism is knowing how to internalize the personal things; and there are hospital programs to help staff deal with the tough bits. That is also a role of supervisors. Anyway, I hope she settles down about this, and I wish her luck.

Fierro knows he's guilty, so why is he and his lawyers trying every trick in the book to get him off. This man took a life, so now he should take responsibility and deal with the consequences and quit being a coward. He drank, he drove, he killed, now he must pay as should everyone else who is caught!
