To Governor George Rivera. You seem to be thundering right along. I realize that the death of a young man (Philip Espinoza, struck by your Lt. Governor Linda Diaz, in party mode, has to be placed in a back burner, the better to enhance your chances at success. I really don't think that the humble beginnings of the tribe should concern you at all. You've done nothing but destroy and denigrate the descendents of the first settlers of the Pueblo of Pojoaque every chance you get. And they trusted you and honored you with the position you're in now. You and Linda Diaz both should be placed on a back burner too. Permanently!!!!

Philip Espinoza apparently survived the initial impact but died beside the highway during the night.

That's how Linda Diaz, your Lt. Gov. left this young man. Doesn't that give you a clue? What if it had been your child? Would you still be thundering along, Linda Diaz whispering in your ear and getting you to mistreat your own people based on her sense of what's right or wrong? You cannot have success if you don't address this issue. Unless you know something the rest of us don't.

I know you've noticed that we're stayin away from Buffalo,Cities, and all your enterprises. You have taken away the recreation of gambling and made it the greed factor for your self gain. The million dollar payment you owe on a monthly basis will no longer be paid by the hardworking local population of the valley. This buzz is spreading like a runaway train, and we're getting off.

figured out that you'd never come out ahead going to a casino? No need to dress it up with some false moral outrage.

I posted that whenever I pass buffalo thunder I think of (and smell) a bison passing gas. My post was removed. Whats wrong with what I wrote? Its how I feel about that casino. I have no respect for them. If they didnt want my opinion then they shouldnt have built it by the highway where I have to look at that loser place every time I drive by. Its just my opinion.

So are you blaming a bison for your sense of smell? It's probably you passing gas...and I'm willing to bet that they could care less about your opinion. Pojoaque Pueblo has every right to build a casino on their land. And if you're just passing by, what's the problem? Look the other way. As for your respect...who cares!!!!

It's hard to be supportive of anything to do with you, George Rivera. Your Lt. Gov. Linda Diaz has singlehandedly brought more disgrace on Pojoaque Pueblo than all the combined tribal members have or ever will. Is this what the humble settlers of the Pueblo work so hard for? They starved and fought hard for the tribe. And what are you doing? Your priorties are screwed! Looking the other way, again, when the truth is in your face. You are destroying a beautiful place.

Or it might be the build up of BULL **** between the ears of BOYSNOTT TOO. You know them gasses need to be released from time to time. And since he gets so worked up when passing by our BEAUTIFUL CASINO he lets it all out. So that’s what the smell is. Who cares about respect from a smelly **** like BOYSNOTT TOO? People like them can’t look the other way cuz they are to caught up in what we do for the small town that at one time had NOTHING for the people. We could be doing the right thing or the wrong and this looser would still be posting B.S.

What a quiet little governor George Rivera is when it comes to Linda Diaz and her terrible crime. People in the real world are dismissed from their position of power for having extra-maritial relations. But not George....not a whisper about Linda Diaz. You become more excited about a piece of art or your freaking magazine than the death of a young man on tribal land. You're doing wrong things. And the tribe is going to suffer for your lack of judgement. But that has never really concerned you as long as it doesn't hurt you personally. I understand you being of comfort to Linda Diaz, but what I don't understand is that you come down so hard on other tribal members for far less than what Linda has done. She doen't deserve that...really. She deserves the same treatment as anyone else on the rez.. You have no idea...

WOW!!!First, I have nothing but admiration for the powerful and mighty sculpture of the Buffalo dancer installed in front of the Smithsonion Institute In Washington D.C.. It's beautiful. But George, what's going to happen to our beautiful place? You have to address the Linda Diaz issue. What she did, and what you are doing with your beautiful art don't jibe. Let her go, treat her the same as anyone else on the pueblo. Her crime isn't based on hearsay evidence, it's based on factual evidence found on her vehicle and at the scene of the crime. And the magazine thing? You have more productive and positive things to do with your time.

Funny how nobody bothers to reply to all the crazy comments. To Paz? How would you know what Governor has to do with his time? Tell me the last time you accompanied the Governor anywhere?

Why does anyone have to accompany the Governor anywhere? We know what we see. He puts that ex-drug dealer Frank Demolli to do his dirty work. It is white man that has taken over the poor people of the tribe. Those who are put in high places for instance jobs ect., kiss butt to keep jobs and popularity and opportunity. And those who speak up for themselves and defend the people of the tribe get pushed around. Ask any one who is enrolled there. Or maybe not, because if they speak then they will for sure be thrown out of the pueblo or disenrolled. The people of the Pojoaque tribe are forced to keep quiet. It’s not like the days where all Americans had Freedom of Speech.
