Will his novel "Desert" be translated into English soon, or has it already been published in English?

Perhaps the SF New Mexican could arrange for one of its reporters to interview Le Clezio in an attempt to understand why he and his family live in NM and what they can tell us about our home state which we may take for granted and not fully appreciate.

It is always insightful when someone from another culture shares their observations.

Thank you for offering this information Mishra. I investigated www.worldcat.org/advancedsearch and it listed other books translated into English by Le Clezio but Desert was listed as only in French.

I've translated one of my favorite Le Clezio shorts: La saison de pluies.
It is available for anyone who may want a copy.

Cheers,

It is available for anyone who may want a copy. I would love to translate other works, especially the ones which remind me of my mother's own Poisson D'Or life.

Cheers,
