Firstly, if you still think a million dollars is a lot of money you probably have not been a productive working member of society for the past 10 years. Secondly, pot heads are pompous, disillusioned, unproductive slackers and we don't need even more of these free-loading fools by legalizing pot. "I just want to hang out dude". The only people in favor of dope are the ones that use it, go figure. Pot makes you stupid and I can't stand being in the company of stupid people. Network television is about as close as I need to come to stupid people.

Fact is that chasing down pot users is a total waste of resources.
If there wasn't grant money available, the cops would't lift a finger.
And busting meth labs is dangerous. No cop wants to be in danger, so they avoid it at all costs.
They want nice, safe, mellow busts like pot smokers.

Sounds to me like your "Fact" is actually just your "opinion." There is a difference...

A Million bucks, really? 500 indoor plants @ 1 oz each = 31.25 lbs. 31.25 lbs. x $3000/lb.=$93,750
If the growers successfully harvested and sold all of their pot, they would make less than $100,000. That's quite a bit, but a far cry from a $1,000,000. I wonder why kids think the cops are full of it?
DEA weigh the stems, AND the dirt the pot grows in to bloat the figures on paper to seem like their war is more successful. But if they are enforcing the laws, then they'd be hypocrites if they knew which part of the plant is actually useful.

I'm for legalizing it to extent (like the regulation of alcohol) for a myriad of issues not pertaining to "just smoking". and I can't stand smoking it.

Though I agree with potheads being total freeloaders. Ever been to Chill Out? Their food is awful cause they are too stoned to work, and their slogan prides on it. I think what bothers me is that stoners think they are okay to drive while stoned, as if its better than driving drunk. I have been in 2 accidents, each one, not at fault, and each time the driver was stoned out of their mind. Hallucinogens while driving are no good.

If pot were legal and it cost say $50 of oz.(big tax like alcohol) nobody would be shot in the street. There would be no money in pot.
Exactly

Then why are you hanging out here all the time?

The only grow houses I've known of were staffed by young white men. And how do you expect to be taken seriously with that handle? Do you use that on porn sites, too? LOL

Who said anything about being taken seriously? Most people posting on these forums are as-swipes whose views I completely disagree with. So why not have a little fun pissing them off (Becky Johnson, Chicana and all the others...)

And for what it's worth, the only grow houses I've known are from illegal wetbacks and Vietnamese. Now what...

The guy that said you only get one ounce of a weed plant obviously doesnt know what hes talking about. An average weed plant can get from a quarter pound to two pounds of weed and at about 3000$ per pound that is alot more than 100000 dollars.

Maybe OUTDOORS it can.

Indoors you're doing good to get 1/4 pound from a plant. 1-2 ounces is more like it.
