I do not think so. I saw him in the Long's 3 or 4 months ago and his pink suit looked like it had not been washed in a month with a bad smell of B.O. to match. Maybe he finally went off the deep end and is vactioning in some Santa Cruz travel destination like Thailand, Bali or India.

I find this very very hard to believe. Everyone knows he does not "approach" anyone. He walks very slowly and in a straight line. So it's hard to believe.

One day long ago my son walked by Robert as he sat under his garbage bag and he offered his usual cheerful greeting, "Have a Nice Day."
When my son didn't reply because he was being an unsociable teenager, Robert responded perfectly by saying..."That's right, ignore the problem!"
We still laugh about this.

Thank god he's disappeared. Last time I saw him I was walking under the scaffolding near the Cinema 9. He was walking towards us. When he walked by us he smelled like he just crap-ed his pants.
