It always amazes me that they blame that the ramp is to blame.
Well if the frecking moron was not speeding and taking that ramp slow this would have never have happened.
Once again don't blame the driver blame the on ramp. The driver should just admit he was going too damn fast and take personal responsibility that he caused a lot of people an inconvenience for not being responsible. Toy-R-Us should fire his butt!

I liked the part on the news where one of the car drivers involved in the accident stated "I was driving about 70-75 mph and just could not stop in time". Can we add another Mensa candidate?

the engineer who designed these off ramps, must have been drunk & whomever approved the design, was probably stoned. these ramps are worse than the 101/405, in terms of ease of access and safety.

All the 10 Fwy and 605 Fwy connectors lanes to each other need work - they are too complex - they have lanes crossing over lanes to get to the freeway you want. Some drivers are crossing over to get to the 605 at the same time others are crossing over the sames lanes to get to the 10 - they need to separate them. The combination of people who driver to fast, the ones who drive to slow and the ones who just shouldn't be on the road are deadly in that area.

The reason they built the interchange this way was to give drivers a chance to reconsider before going to Los Angeles. On particularly bad traffic mornings, this is the "gee, you know, I think I'll just go back home" ramp for the East SGV and Inland Empire ;)

These freeways were built in the 50's. look at the 110. built in the 40's, when the top speed of a vehicle was 30MPH. they were not designed for the speeds and amount of traffic we experience today. But of course no one takes this into account. FREEWAY means free right?

Our freeways are out dated and was not designed to handle the traffic. Our infrastructure in general is completely falling apart. Meanwhile, the government spends tax payer money building bases and invading foreign countries. Unemployment is reaching 20%, inflation is destroying domestic economy, corporations are out sourcing anything and everything they can...but politicians are flying around the world and to assist them. What the

Just another case of a trucker over driving and going to fast, and ended up crashing. Fortunately, no innocent person was killed as usually is the case. It happens all the time with the careless truckers in that area.

These so called professional drivers (usually a bunch of hicks) should know how dangerous that interchange is and drive accordingly.

All that said (I don't disagree a whole lot) there is still no excuse for these careless truckers crashing all the time. Just about every time I am on the freeway, there are big rigs doing 65 and 70 MPH (sometimes in the #2 lane) when they should be doing no more than 55 MPH (speed limit for those vehicles).

Well, evedently, Top Tur(d)key is a perv.
Watch your young girls in S Arcadia if you live around Top Turd.
I concur. Here is a prior post he had made regarding the death of an obese man whom he refered to as a fatso slob...below is my response if we were to "translate" his register information as the "Top Turd".
Dude is sick and afflicted!
Top Typical is just what you said: a TURD.
His expertise is mainly in making himself "feel" superior by putting down other cities, social groups, you name it (the typical bully / inferiority complex)... all from the comfortable anonymity of being behind a computer screen.
For all we know, he posts his insults from a ply-wood shack or worn out trailer. And maybe he doesn't even have a car to get around anywhere, because Temple City (he likes to call it "South Arcadia") has its of good neighborhoods, and pockets of utter crapville... JUST LIKE Azusa and other cities in the area.
