Focusing on local news would be a big step up. Most news tends to be "negative." It can be pretty depressing when you get barraged by bad news from around the country and around the world.

I would wager that the reason that you prefer printed newspaper to website newspaper is because you're a newspaper editor that is A: biased, and B: whose newspaper makes money largely via ads in printed papers,........and the reason that the "many readers" (?)'prefer' printed newspapers is because they're technophobes who if they even have a computer are either A: afraid of it, or B: barely know how to turn it on.

Let's be honest, the newspaper that figures out how to duplicate it's content online in an equally easy-to-peruse format as its printed page(s) is the newspaper that won't be financially strapped any longer.

I would wager that A: you don't know what the hell you're talking about, or B: you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

But then, that's just my opinion....

So absent any actual argument, you simply resort to denigration? LOL!
Here, let's pretend for a moment that you actually had a rational counterpoint, for argument's sake, eh?

Is your position that the editor of a newspaper isn't biased toward print?
Or is your position that newspapers don't make the majority of their revenue on ads?
Or maybe your position is that those who primarily shun online newspapers and stick with the printed page aren't technophobes?
Because if they are, then it's quite apparent who doesn't "know what the hell they're talking about", and....newsflash....it ain't me, pal.

Next time try adding something to the conservation instead of the equivalent of "Uh uh, is not!".

Newspapers are on their way out the door. Along with CD's and eventually cash will be rare. The next generation does everything electronically. I am amazed when I'm still behind someone writing a check. I haven't had checks for years.
