If have not been involved with nothing he would'nt be where he is now. We always say they were doing nothing and was a good kid. But who knows what a child is doing when you're not around. If the parents would take more intrest in their kids they would know that they are just doing nothing but learning how to stay out of trouble.

Its not that parents are refusing to not be part of their childrens lives but this poor city won't allow it. As a product of E. Palo Alto I have first hand experience with parents not being present in there childs lives. I understand the involvement of parents in their childs lives is crucial and a major factor in these childrens lives but how is this supposed to be carried out when they are working three to four jobs. IKEA for certain is not paying their monthy rents. We need to as community member show this children morals. They grow up and do not really understand the meaning of Life. But who can blame them when all they know is to be afraid. These children are afraid to walk outside into their front lawns to play. Now this tragedy...we can't even drive down the streets in our own cars? We can ask the parents to become more involved in their childrens' lives but again it doesnt rest there. Where are these children getting weapons to defends themselves? Some how buying a weapon has become much easier for youth and getting an education which is not the best quality is down played. We need to create safe havens for our children. We are all people and must unite to create peace with ourselves but also with our community. Please join us for a day of peace on Febuary 3rd in East Palo Alto to say as a community that we do not tolerate this violence and things must improve for this generation and the next that follows. Lets safe our youth.
May Seema Singh rest in peace. May her family have the strength to cope with the loss. Im sure she was just driving down Alberni and had no intentions of doing anything wrong. May the other two individuals from Sunday night, a 13 year old and 18 year old, rest in peace.

I agree, it's not the parents fault! this girl was 18...she was an adult...sadly she was obviously involved with the wrong crowd!!! This just goes to show that this can happend to ANYONE, of ANY RACE!!!!
My heart goes out to her and her family...somebody knows something and they need to speak up!!!! She claimed to be a ROD CHIC, so when you around negative stuff and negative people, these types of thng happen! RIP SEEMA, from another "Pisces".
What's a ROD CHIC? I also agree that anybody who knows anything needs to tell the police. Seema did not deserve to be murdered. Anybody who knows who killed her and doesn't say anything should be ashamed of themselves. How would they feel if their own sister was murdered and the people who knew what happened were too selfish or scared to say anything?

I know that all of Seema's family and friedns want to beleive that this was a random act, but the truth is, no one randomly shoots a person oonce in the temple! And according to the Mercury NEws report police do not believe that this was a random shooting! I am not saying that Seema is guilty of any wrong doing but sometimes when you hang around the wrong people you just get "caught up" and I really beleive that she just got caught up in the middle of something or she knew something that somebody didn't want to chance her telling!! This story has really touched my heart and I think of Seema on a daily..even though I didn't know her, Just looking at her picture you can tell that she was a beautiful person, I pray to GOD that they find the person who did this!!!

U know what just because a person has a myspace name that says r.o.d chic on it, doesn't mean that they were in the wrong crowd. there are so many kids out there that have really ridiculious names, worse then r.o.d chic.

Dam Baby Girl …..can’t believe you really gone! You weren’t only my little sister but also my bestfriend….I am greatfull to have had you as a sister. I would of rather had the best lil sister for a short while , then just another sibling . At least I know you with your Dad now and your ok.

Regarless what went down with you ain’t cool, it ain’t right in any way no matter what hood you from!!

To that punk ass, bitch made nigga that did this …..remember what goes around comes around cause karma is a bitch but not a bigger bitch than one that who’s sister’s life you took!!

You all out there trigger happy, yeah everybody bold with a piece in their hand, but how big is you when it’s one on one…toe to toe. What is everyone scared of an ass whipping these days. There has always been funk everywhere, but is it that serious? She didn’t take away your loved one, or cause your family harm?! That’s not what she was about, wan’t her wayz. When you shot my sister you didn’t just take her life you took part of mine as well….the thing is you don’t even know me or anything about me. I don’t know what goes down in EPA . I just hope her folks that she always spoke of are doing what they need to do. Like I always told her I’m outsider lookin in.

So whoever is reading this that ever thinks about pickin up a piece to fix their problems….just remember you don’t just take out that person, but you take down the people that care for them, think about how your folks would feel if it was you on the other end! Somethin to think about cause regarless what you are you are still human…..…

Cma…I love you baby, don’t know what to do without you….really… I miss you don’t even cut it!!

That is so true, i 100% blame her parents for this, and maybe her parents need to pay more attention & more communication, seems to me that there's only one thing in this tragedy lack of communication between the child & her parents if only they do that everything wouldn't turn out this way. you know what? thanks for all the positive comments and well wishes, but for all the ones claiming to be her cousin or "like her sister" and getting all gangster-ish with your rapps? give it a rest. i'm so sick of hearing your crap and it's the same crap that probably got her into some mess. that's why i always say INDIANS HAVE NO PLACE IN GANGS because they don't know what they're dealing with. and please don't blame the mother, she's already going through ENOUGH. in this day and age, you cannot control your kids. you teach them right and wrong, and you let go. if they screw up, then it's on them. and i know her mother raised her the best she knew how even though others condemned her the whole time because of this f**ked up culture where no one in the family respects the daughter in laws. no one knows anyone's business, no matter how close you think you may be, and the one who's saying she was like my sister, well i think i know who you are so stop rapping poems because the cops are going to interview you. if any of you really gave a crap about her, come forward and tell the authorities everything you know.
