Clown, so far everything you have posted is a personal jab at those who disagree with you. Thanks for making the case that many christians don't have tolerance or even respect for other religions.
Why don't you post something a significant opinion instead of either brainwashed rhetoric or disrespectful blurbs. I'd really like to hear what you have to say.
Tim I'm just messin with the guys I'm for putting what you want on your tag if you pay for that right !!! Christians should be able to do that just as a tee shirt or bumper sticker its your tag not the gov.

Ah, there's the blind bigotry we have come to expect from Christian zealots.
I actually support this license plate. Since Christians tend to be poor drivers it gives me ample warning which cars to keep distant from. Besides, an atheist plate is around the corner whether Bullard likes it or not.
Tired and boring hate speech with name calling thrown in..........

Would seem odd to have someone giving you the middle finger if they had such a tag.......

Maybe you could explain a little more. Do you think Christians drive worse than others? It woulod appear that way from your post. And, do you think there are that many Christians on the road to where it would make a notable difference?

And, an obvious thought your post provokes is that even if there were only one Christian on the road and that one drove better, as you wished, then traffic would improve, however slight. It probably wouldn't be enough for you to tell though.

How about an ANITA BRYANT specialty plate to promote Florida's bigotry and intolerance?
Anita Bryant never came close to the bigotry and intolerance shown on these forums. And many (maybe most) are from Florida.

What God?
The same one that lets innocent children die from starvation, diseases, etc...

How about a "Freedom of Thought" plate...

Keep the separation of church and state separate...

Members of the legislature should have a special plate "Time and Money Waster".

Every one of them supporting these idiotic license plates should be removed since it has nothing to do with taking care of state business.

Those I've seen with the Z 88.3 or the fish seem to be more likely to ignore the rules of the road than other cars I've seen. Who knows whether they're Christians or not but it makes me wonder.

It reminds me of something I was told years ago by some evangelist, that only the laws of god were important, not the laws of man.

This an abomination. The people that think that this isn't offensive, shouldn't have a problem with every religion being advertised on plates, including Satanism. Keep your religion in your house and church, and out of my face. Can I show a priest molesting someone on my plate?
Only if you have "Truck Nutz" hanging from the rear.

Good question.
YOU BET'CHA - we'd be all over it, regardless of the religion.
Question back @ ya - have ANY others tried this and many other attempts to impose their religion on our government and educational systems?
The difference here is that most other religious folks aren't as vain as these kind of Christians - they don't need to advertise. They keep it to themselves, as they should.
I do agree with you that it is a private feeling.

But, I do not believe (at least in my case) that it's vanity. Well, okay, maybe some Christians will use it to "show off".

My very first reaction when I saw the sample was to smile and I felt a warm and joyeous feeling.

I thought it was only for me and my faith that I enjoy, but I see here that it evokes much negative emotion in others that I would not get one if it ever was approved. I didn't realise how much people dislike the display of faith on cars.

Personally, I wouldn't be upset if I saw other religions with one because I know the money goes to their faith-based causes.

But, I do agree. No religious themed plates. Make one of your own and put it on the front of your car, if so inclined.

"sends a message that Florida is essentially a Christian state"

That's a better message than we are getting from our leaders and the media. But no, a Christian state would not adopt 'hate laws' such as the sex offender registration thing, and a Christian state would not kill people and call it justice.

I am a devout Christian and originally liked the idea of a "I believe" license plate.

BUT......a lot of the posts bring up some very plausible reasons NOT to have this plate. Florida should not be promoted as a Christian state and doing so is a contradiction to the separation from church and state. If I as a Christian get to have a special plate, so should all the other beliefs. It's only fair. Separation from church and state is not only good so you don't have a particular religion governing it's beliefs on it's citizens, but you also don't have a government imposing it's beliefs on the religion itself.

I also agree with these posts that say we have too many specialty plates already.

Another aspect I have to point out to my fellow Christians. How many preachers and church leaders would say to the congregation they should go out and get this license plate and in not doing so you are NOT a good Christian. That of course would be missing the point entirely about the heart of Christianity.

Let us know how that goes for you. Could you get rid of the IRS too? I'm paying too much in taxes.
Thanks!

Thanks William your prayer worked--I finally got that Toy Pony I was hoping for.

I prayed that you would stop using religion as a way to manipulate people. Let me know how it works out.
