This story is such **** The dept of NDCP is a corrupt part of the War on Drugs for propaganda only. They will do anything, say anything to change the tone of the WAR. This is funded by drug busts. Remember the "This is your brain..... 2 eggs.... and this is your brain on drugs......Eggs frying. Ha Ha. Can't believe we actually will stand for this flawed study. How can they actually study somthing that is a schedule "A" drug. They need to do better studies w/ scientists not poloticians.

OK, OK, this is a White House Press Release. When has the Bush Administration ever really cared about anything? I think I know what is goin' on here!!! If the Bush Administration is spending all this time on focusing on kids self-medicating their depression with pot, than SOMEONE is worried that less kids will take their Zoloft! That means a drop in pharmacutical profits.
I notice that there is nothing in this article about how going to prison for 5 years will make people depressed... Don't know about y'all, but listening to the Bush Administration has not been very good for my mental health. And have we ever heard a story about a stoned teenager opening fire on 7 people in a shopping mall? That would be Prozac... |

First off the word 'Marijuana' should not be used..it was brainwashed in people as an evil drug..not the self-susutainable miracle plant that once brought our entire world hundreds of valuable items..The only depression that could come from partaking in Sensimelia would be that the teen could finally 'see' with open eyes the horrible condition we are in and the dogma that this medicine is under..The governments accross the world created an evil aura around this plant..and people have to hide in the shadows in order to use it..making them feel they are doing something wrong..if this natural medicine was legal as it should be & the scientific evidence of its many positive affects were confirmed & publicized than the true beauty and freedom would be felt-lived & shared..So the only depression comes from the fact that this natural medicine is living in a world of lies created by the lawyers of many big buisinessman.

I agree... kids shouldn't be smoking it. But once you're an adult, there's nothing wrong with it. Less harmful than alcohol.

It's nice to see the Feds worried about the depression pot causes.
If they worried about the depression a jail sentence has on an 18 year old for possesion of pot, we might get somewhere |

This report is already being torn apart:
http://www.salem-news.com/articles/may102008/... Nothing, and I repeat nothing positive has come from this administration after 7 + years. Nothing but lies and deceit and corruption. They will get away with it too. I have zero respect for the criminal justice system. I now wonder, how many innocent people have been imprisoned and executed under this administration? Having McCullum as Florida's AG is just as bad. |

Another **** study by the ONDCP, and the Associated Press jerking off all over it as if it were the 10 commandments. Yawn.
|
|
|
The problem is that it causes teens to get laid, which leads to teen pregnancies and STDs.

Put down the beer before you put your fingers to the keyboard. |

Wow... you've got a lot of anger towards someone you don't even know. Maybe a few bong hits would do you some good. I'm sure you never drink a beer or have a glass of wine. Hypocrite! Maybe you should take some spelling and grammar lessons while you're at it. I smoked a ton of weed in college and still managed to graduate on time with a great GPA and get a job. What's YOUR excuse, loser? |

Thanks for the link. From that link, a reason to vote Democrat.
"Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have each been clear that they do not see marijuana as a problem in our society that requires federal money and intervention and incarceration. Perhaps this new federal report represents the death throes of a movement that began in the 1930's as an effort to remove hemp rope from the commercial marketplace."
|
|
Obviously Obama and Hillary are both stoned, but I'm not sure if Hillary inhales. |
