My condolences. I saw the accident before the police got there. I saw Steven laying on the ground and wondered how this could happen! I cried the whole way home and prayed for his family. I too, lost my father to head trauma. He fell down some stairs. Not quite the same accident, but taken abruptly just the same. My heart cries for the family and my prayers are with them.

I wish more would be more alert to people on motorcycles. Its simple, just look & listen. I have too many friends & family that ride. Be ALERT alwasys to others.....its nice. It saves lives. I wish the man & his family well.

I'm So sorry to the family. I don't usually write. But my condolences to you. Maybe you too will do like I do everytime I see a bike, I say a prayer for safty. I experienced a drunk driver hit a couple on the highway years ago. My husband & I followed him. He got away with the DWI, but was convicted for leaving the scence, because we were able to get a plate number. The couple did live & were fine, just bruised with road rash.
I consider myself a prayer angel for fellow bikers, my brother included. More people will ride now with the gas prices.
I will never know your pain. I hate to say it, but the summer is coming, people drink...more bikes will be ridden than ever. You will not be alone.
May your family somehow be blessed during this most difficult time in your lives. I do not understand the pain.

from what i got from a witness at the scene... it WAS that ugly. i gather cars hit the biker after he went down.
No that is NOT what happened. So funny, most of you people have no clue what you are talking about. My father was a Harley rider for 40 years. Not a seasonal motorcycle rider like you crotch rockets. He respected the road and the law. He is now dead and buried because of Jose's carelessness and my children will no longer spend their days with their favorite person in this world. My family is devastated and all you people can think about is the traffic that was caused and how you couldnt get home in time for dinner. I hope you never see any of your loved ones vehicles come up on the news channel and that is how you are notified of such a tragic event in your life...because thats what happened to us.
If you have nothing to say but a condolence to my family then I suggest you all take your self rightous selves and STFU!
