This report should be rejected by the Players Asociation. How can a Red Sox director investigate the rest of baseball? Will he dig dirt on Manny and Big Papi or any of the 2004 WS championship players, like the way their energy increased whilst the Yankees energies were naturally going down after game 4?

Tney need to throw the report away its time for baseball to go forward. i do belive however the players need to be questioned and made aware. we need better testing and a fresh start date let them know from here on out any cheating will not be tolerated and owners need to be fined if they know of any player and turn a blind eye. lets move on with baseball its time.

WHy waste money on the report- basically all you had to do was read Canseco's book and look at all the people who gained 40 pounds over any off season...

The ballplayers aren't raising the children, YOU are. You as the parent teach the child, not Derek Jeter or **insert ANY professional athletes name here**.

Gee....Does anyone question how for 2 years 2003-2004 they couldn't get Jose Reyes on the field because he had severe hamstring pulls...and even said he wasn't holding his arms correct to cut wind resistance when he ran.....and now...miraculously he has become, as some people call him..."one of the top 10 players in the game and a sure Hall of Famer"
This report will shine a blinding light on some peoples view !!!

It would be great to see the MLB fold and baseball return to it's roots. It's become such a deceiful, callous game over the years. Would be wonderful to see it return to it's small town roots - no ridiculous salaries, no reason to cheat, just enjoyment of the game.

Senator Mitchell needs to look at the rampant steroid abuse problem plaguing major league baseball as a sociological problem. Many borderline major league talent use steroid substances simply to give them an edge. If they use "the cream" or other steroids, it might prolong their major league careers. Thus fatten their wallets. I believe Barry Bonds and other well known hitters received all of the steroid attention because they were superstars. Yet most steroids in the majors aren't used by the glamour players but used by borderline major league talent players. First you stop it at that level then you go after the superstars. That's how you stop the problem.

Mitchell's a Red Sox director? Hmm....If the report names no Red Sox and all Yankees, we'll know something is fishy.

I think they should test everybody now, make all the results public, and stop worrying about who did what in the past.

Just heard this on WFAN..."60-80 current and/or former players are listed within the Mitchell Report, including six Yankee, six Met and four Red Sox players...It is unknown at this time if any are currently on the active roster of those teams". I guess he did find some Sox players. Now What?

Why? Children can't even watch the games on TV because they stake 3.5 hours to finish a game and it's well past their bedtime.

My Dad was right, all pro sports are fixed. They only exist to benefit gamblers and the stupid taxpayers subsidize the stadia.
