I love this meerkat cam! I wish it were realtime though. The meerkats move fast but they look like the rats on hig speed comcast. They just zoom by in a blur like little ghost kats!

These meerkats are adorable. I have them up at work like a screensaver, behind my work and love watching them! They are so much more active than the ones on the Colorado zoo cam. http://www.cmzoo.org/meerkatcam.html Those are fatter and slower...but I suppose it could be cuz it's all snowy cold there!!

The Metro Zoo's meerkat cam has become a popular watering hole for the Friends of the Kalarhai Meerkat Project Society. We're just buggy for meerkats. Can't get enough of them.
Are your meerkats named? Some zoos name them, some don't. But meerkats do get to know their names. My own adoptees at the Philly Zoo: Mae and Gracie respond to their names.

Hi Friends,
for the first time I´ve seen feeding the kats today, this has been the absolutely Awwwww-factor!!!!
They are really too cute and the nice Keeper has shown their delicious food thingies directly into the camera.
It was too adorable how the meerkats have stretched out their sweet little arms to grab the "goodies".
The new plants in the opposite corner are looking great.

I love these kats and this wonderful webcam. And yes, I would also love to know their names. If they don´t have any names yet, how about naming them by us???

Yes, of course I´ve seen the adorable little Cheyenne kats, I´m so sorry for these poor guys about having to dig in the snow.
On their homepage they tell to click the refresh button for updating the image, but it doesn´t work, anyhow. I think this camera works like the Marwell webcam.
However, the little snow kats are very sweet."You can never have too many meerkats."

I finally can see the kats and they are so cute. I've seen 4 so far. Does anyone know the direct link to the Miami Zoo? I found their site, but I can't find where they have the live cams on their page. I want to know just in case NBC 6 discontinues giving live feed.
