I hope that the reward will prompt anyone with information concerning the disappearance of DaShad will come forward. Not only because of the reward money, but because it is the right thing to do. That was a very kind thing to do on the part of the person who donated the reward money. I hope that the investigators can find Erik McFadden. Perhaps he holds the key to DaShad's disappearance. He could know somthing. While I want to believe that DaShad is ok, the longer a person goes missing, the less likely that person will be ok. I truely hope that he is alive. His family needs to have closure. I am praying for the Smith family. I feel that the room mate may know more than what he is saying.

I agree with Detective Awesome's comment above.^^^^

This guy seems to appear healthy in the video taken of him (see above comment for link). However, I'm not exactly sure of the location where the video was shot. He had such a great voice, with the ability to hit such beautiful high notes.

This case is sad, because it's obvious from the video that this guy was a family man, who was only concerned for the safety of everyone's wife and kids.

Bless this man's heart, I will be listening to this song on my ipod dock every day until he is found.

I pray that you never have to go through what this person's family are going through right now. They're approaching Christmas, unsure if their child has come to harm or whether they are even alive. It's hardly something to joke about.

You tell it MMI! Some just don't get it! I know why some of these posts are not so sensitive to this situation. Two reasons!

A reward is the way to go.

Here in welfare heaven Charlottesville most would denounce their own mother for a twenty dollar bill.

Should of done this long before, they offer a reward now as criticism mounts on the cops, not that the cops can do anything better than what they have put they still could of offered the reward sooner.

I wish that this poor guy's disappearance had been given half the attention that the Morgan Harrington case got. This has been going on a month now. And now you just think to look up phone records and credit card transactions? I really hope he is found safe . And to all the tool bags saying inconsiderate things about him, I hope you never have to deal with a family member who has gone missing, would you like it if I said your sister or brother looked like Antoine Dodson? Get a life.

Why, when there are plenty of pictures around, is 29 still using a mugshot?

There are people who know what happened. Hopefully this will push someone to say something.

Chill out, Mary. The cops were checking phone records and electronic transactions within the first week. Do you believe what you read in the news? ATMs, phones and cards are the first place they check.
And skip the passive-aggressive racist Morgan Harrington references. This case had plenty of coverage.

Does this picture represent what this young person may have looked like or was reported by those who placed him downtown when he last seen ?

I have my fingers crossed that LE has Morgans killer in their sites as I am not hearing these cases being seperated or for the public to be diligent to the fact they may be related.

Prolly a waste of time asking = Video from any of the retail stores/ banks , eateries the evening Sage went missing.

Why should the cops have offered a reward. No crime has occured as far as any of us know. The last time I checked at 18 you were free to not contact anyone if you didn't want to. Just because Dashadhas not been heard from does not necessarily mean a crime has occured.
I hope Dashad is found to be safe and sound. I really do. I do feel that this case is receiving an unusual ammount of attention since people go missing all across the country every day. I left home for awhile at age 18 and didn't contact anyone. I didn't have the police bird-dogging me all across creation. What if Dashad doesn't want to be found for some reason? Who is going to cover the cost to the city? The family? If I had to guess, I'd say the taxpayers are going to eat that extra cost.
I hope that he is home by Christmas. I hope that all of the missing people in the world are located. This is a tough situation and I hope it is resolved soon and that everyone is safe and sound.

The reward being offered was donated by an anonymous person, it is not from the police department or the city, nor should it be.

I sure hope that some annonymous person offers up a cash reward on all the missing persons cases in this area. Maybe I missed something, but what is so special about this guy? Did he do something remarkable? And why is there such a push for the police to spend more time on THIS case? I'm sure there are other things that they could better spend their time doing.
