Please remove the washboard ripples in many turns. They are a definate hazard.

Please rework the round-about at Rt.53 and 600 so trucks or vehicles towing trailers don't have to drive on the shoulder to make the turns onto the circle. Very poor planning!
Hope the new one at being planned at Rt. 15 and 53 will be designed better. And skip the lights!

Note to Joe Chesser, most of the businesses and road surfaces in Zions Crossroads are in Louisa County. I find this story kind of odd because Louisa will be the one that benefits the most from the potential for growth and tax revenue for any road improvements. I am guessing he wants to see some growth on the other side of 250? I don't see that happening anytime soon.

can we address the terrible hazzard in the first turn on rt 729 going from rt 53 toward Shadwell``` The road is collapsing on the right side` the red barrels there do little to keep someone from being KILLED if they run into the hole in the pavement

I so agree with your statement to rework the round-about,,,I would love to meet the person/persons who not only designed the thing but who built it,,,,I think it is easy to say they were not thinking of the trucks or trailers that travel that road.
Whoever is responsible for the design may at some point realize it was built wrong, but my guess is that they won't realize it for at least 2 years and by then the road will have to repaved.

I really like the comment by Chesser "These in the future will be very important to the Zion Crossroad area, which we hope in the near future, maybe the next five years will be much more abundant with economic development than it is today for Fluvanna,"

The Board has not cared about this area in years! Why would you even begin to make this comment. Sure it is never to late, but maybe considering this years ago, the county would not be in such a hurt as it is now.

We agree with you: they have not cared about this area, and points west, ever! I have lived in Fluvanna County, in this area, all of my life. They still do not care about the area nor the residents/taxpayers at Zion and points west based on what has been approved and is already there: industrial blight! They want more heavy equipment rental facilities, trash and recycling facilities, and contractor storage yards. These facilities are not an imminent threat but they are ugly, unsightly, create traffic noise and pollution, and do not provide services to those who live in the area. Expect more of the same if these "grand" plans go forward. We are also wondering if they appointed anyone to serve on this committee who has lived in the area before these types of facilities were built?! I am talking about actual residents not business owners/people. The answer is probably "no!" If anyone responds to this comment by giving it the wrong or nuts symbol does not live in the area and does not travel Route 250 on a daily basis.
