Theft and vandalism of Republican signs are common occurrences around here. It's good to learn that the police are willing to investigate.

Cameras work.

If he steals enough signs he can patch the holes he put in his public housing unit.

Without these drones and dronettes social services would be laying people off left and right. Acknowledge those that make the welfare state the biggest industry that the state has.

You can't blame the guy for taking the sign. It's going to be a collector's item after Romnesia loses.

Wow!! Seems to me the enlightened (noses in the air) and tolerant ones are "intolerant" of other people’s views and opinions. Just another reason to believe that the "tolerant" argument is a ruse in order to deceive others then bully them with hate speech to bring them into compliance all while trying to seize power and mandate their views over the populous. Of course, this all occurs within in the context of smiling and being tolerant.

It shouldn't take that much technology to enhance the license plate and catch this goofball. I don't care if it's a Republican or Democratic sign, this needs to stop.

Since the perp can't respect the right to free speech and he is commiting theft I say the store clerk should report this so we can get a criminal investagation going so we can catch him and he can excerise his right to a trial.

If the sign is on the public right of way, it's ok to remove any sign.

First of all, it's not a "robber". A robber takes something from someone by force. This is simply a thief taking a sign (Journalism 101, 2012).

I'm trying to find the section of the Virginia Code pertaining to political signage, but unable to locate that section at the moment. However, I believe removal/destruction of any political sign/banner, etc., is illegal.

Anyone out there who can research the VA Code?

Looks like Wes might be going easy on the dude, since after all, he is a customer.

Should not be hard to determine who it is from the credit card transaction at the pump.

Behavior from a member of the party of tolerance, inclusion and acceptance....until they disagree with you. I would not be surprised to learn the Volvo had "coexist" and "celebrate diversity" bumper stickers

And in Leesburg, VA, a large Romney sign in someone's front yard was set afire. Fortunately, it did not catch the house on fire.
