I feel bad for Mrs.Lester. I went to Forestbrook Middle School and she was the happiest assistant principal I ever saw. She is a wonderful woman, and my prayers go to her winning the trial

If indeed he does suffer such an illness, I feel sorry for him, and his family. I knew one troop that got instructions from Moses when he came down out of his picture. He set fire to two jet fuel trucks before anyone understood he was sick. Another found that he could trust his TV set when set to an empty channel. I don't know if either one ever got out of the hospital. If real they are scarey people.

Brad Senter knew exactly what he was doing. I am tired of men abusing woman and trying to get out of it. he committed the crime-he needs to serve his time-ALL OF IT.

My question for you Posy is do you know Brad Senter personally? Have you talked to him or know his family? Do you without a doubt know that he knew what he was doing? Were you there yesterday when under oath Ms. Lester confirmed that Brad Senter never has never hit, shoved or ever been physically abusive towards her until the day of the incident in November 2006? Were you also there when under oath medical evidence was presented? Did you know he was delusional and paranoid since 2005? Most likely the answer to all of these questions is no. So its probably safe to say you do not know about mental illness or how hard it is to deal with..if im incorrect please tell me. The problem with people similar to you is they think they have all the information from the media and believe all that is said but until you are directly involved you have no clue and hopefully will never have to deal with the devastating effects of mental illness.

Posy is one of those judgmental church types that likes to be hard core until one of their family members makes a mistake and then it is "well in my case it was different you see because blah blah blah.........." and would probably whine the loud est because their "little Posy" who never got in trouble got sent away for the max. This crazy guy had NO HISTORY of violence. His wife admitted that on the stand. The State's OWN DR testified for the DEFENSE that the guy was a delusional nut job

Ice cream guy thank you so much for your comment because Brad Senter is my father. People like you with open minds are people we hope the jury is like...open minded. People need to realize that mental illness is real. Sometimes when bad things happen whether or not people want to admit it or not there can be a reason. Thank you once again for your support.

Dena was UNFAITHFUL. Stop making her out to be the poster child for domestic violence. What Mr. Senter did was inexcusable and he needs serious help. However, Dena caused so much pain and heartache to Mr. Senter, the wives, and families of the men she cheated with. I think people would have a little less sympathy for her and more empathy for Mr. Senter if they knew all of the facts. An adulterer is no role model for young children.

I attended the trial this week and i would suggest that the solicitor's wife be careful because it appeared that Ms. Lester was awfully close with the solicitor. Sounds to me that Ms. Lester appearing to be a well educated VP of a school should have known better than to go over to that house by herself...she was asking for trouble. better yet why would you go over there if he "supposedly held you at gunpoint before" ****! To me it looked like her way out and she didnt want anyone to know she was trying to divorce a mentally ill man. Its a sad world we live in today

Didnt think about this before...but she walks around wearing a t-shirt about domestic violence, speaks about being a domestic violence victime but has never spoke on behalf of the mentally ill and was a contestant on the wheel of fortune game. Sounds to me that Ms. Lester is a narcissistic attention ****

Gee, imagine that most of these postings (probably the majority are from the family of Brad Senter).....Sounds like slander to me and I would be very careful about what I say because there are laws to protect individuals from the type of slander that is being done to Ms. Lester and her character. I have to believe if the family (including daughter) and those from North Carolina were as active in seeking mental health assistance for Mr. Senter, it would not have come to his attempted murder of Ms. Lester. I think there are alot of guilty consciences because they sat back thinking that the wife should bear the responsibility of trying to help her then husband. And then were probably as scared of him as she was.
What do you know

Slander,
I happen to know one of the people who posted regarding Ms. Lester and she is not a member of Brad Senter's family, nor does she know Ms. Lester personally. She does know the wife of one of the men Ms. Lester cheated with, and is not the type of person who would say something like that without having the facts straight. What personal knowledge do you have of the whole situation?

If you know any information that can make a difference in the Senter-Lester Case then you should contact his attorney. A doctor shot and killed his wife and got three years in jail while Mr. Senter is facing much more than that. Do they right thing and let the proper authorities know what is going on so this isn't a railroad job.

Slander??? How about being a domestic violence speaker to on more than a few occasions and then admit under oath that you never have been abused before the shooting? Ignore the illness because it looks better??
Have you seen the divorce papers? The story was a bit different than what was told on the stand!! SLANDER goes both ways. And by the way, so does being a victim!!

Dear Slander, The family did not EXPECT a wife of 13 years to help him even though she lived with him, saw him daily, and was a former counselor - but maybe she forgot the "In sickness and in health" part of the vows. According to other blogs, she forgot about other parts of the vows as well.
His family were the ONLY ones who got him help on three separate occasions even though we live out of state. REAL professionals - not a marriage counselor who cannot treat delusions and paranoia.
Scared, YES, because his behavior had NEVER been like he was in 2005 and 2006. Getting help for him was helping everyone - including Dena.
She does not see it that way.
No GUILT on our consciences - we really put forth the effort to get a person in need some help.
By the way, I would have to believe that if one listened to a DOCTOR"S instructions and followed advice such as taking the meds and getting therapy - THAT would have prevented the incident.
I do not know about you slander but when I got married, I did not expect my spouse's family to take care of my husband. I imagine if , God forbid, I would have had an ill husband and needed help, I would have been most grateful to get some.
