To be fair to the supervisors, I did receive this from one of them:

"The newspaper story did not include the full, and lengthy ordinance. There is a process, with many steps, for how complaints are handled. The Animal Control Officer is to make a determination if there a problem, or a neighbor-to-neighbor dispute. Also, the fine is not immediately imposed as education is the first step."

GUESS WHO IS UP FOR RE-ELECTION = BILL CONNELLY.
Might want to send him a message to let him know how pets owners feel.

Supervisors, including Connelly can be contacted at:
http://www.buttecounty.net/Default.aspx...

I know that Connelly already lost at least 4 votes to Andoe over this and other issues including the fact that he voted himself a 55% pay increase. He wrote Arnold and asked him to take a $3 million dollar state grant. He has voted to raise permit fees several times.

Connelly wrote Arnold and asked him to take a $3 million dollar state grant away from the City of Oroville because Connelly wanted a park instead of what the city had the money planned for. Arnold blue-lined the money.

A stupid Mexican family behind me had a dog that barked all day and night. When asked to keep his dog quiet he acted like the dummy he is and said he doesn't understand English.
It took six neighbors six months of complaining before something was done.
Animal control here is as useful as **** on a bull

Did you see how quickly La Migra's off topic comments were deleted from the recent double homicide involving the two local teens?(on Tuesday) Perhaps you are of the same caliber as La Migra? Please get a life Orenation... You have NOTHING postive to say. Crawl back into your hole.

I agree with Supervisor Yamaguchi. There definitely needs to be more than one complainer or you will have neighbors using this out of spite. It's too easy for someone to lie and get someone dinged for $100 or worse, just out of spite.
I disagree completely. I am not complaining about my neighbors dog out of spite but out of frustration and all the people who live around me are elderly and can tune it out with the flick of a hearing aid switch. I am glad they are changing it because complaints to the SPCA and the local law enforcement do nothing to shut them up. They let the dogs continue to bark out of spite. I'd love it if they were fined. Maybe it would make them shut up their annoying dogs.
