Stores in Lowell - Harry Bass, Record Lane, Scott Jewelers, Giant Store, Burger Chef, Rexall, Woolworth's, Kresge, JJ Newbury, Barrows, Pollard's, Bon Marche, Stuart's? And does anyone remember Dr. Gilooly, the dentist?

You left out Zayre's, Jordan Marsh and I want to say Service Merchandise! Lol, remember those? There was also a Bradlees in Chelmsford, next to the Child World, by the old Route 3 Cinemas.

Wow....good times.

I loved the Giant Store. When I was a kid I would get 1.00 a week for an allowance. My sisters and I would walk there from home over the lord overpass ( former Highland girl). We would spend the day shopping.. We each had our own dollar..Man that went a long way back then..

Pewter Pot, now there are some memories. My first date was at a pewter Pot. I took a girl there for a muffin and hot chocolate.
