Bert was the one that finished the sentence saying It's going to hurt me in the end. He is an idiot. He is the only one that will ever know what happened that day and he will never admit it. He has always been a coward and never admitted to anything even when there was witnesses. Zoie deserves justice and she will get it next week!

I know him very well and he is totally capable of anything! I used to hear stories about him and how he had 2 girlfriends at one time for a litle bit years ago and his temper was all over the place and he couldn't control his emmotions then. He knew that I knew the main one and had the nerve to bring the other one around to meet me too! Even though they were both beautiful he didn't know how to treat them either! The one that he stayed with I am friends with and she endured alot (including his raging temper and abuse!) Too bad he has no character witnesses from his past. I think those two girls would have something interesting to say about him!

This isn't a day care situation, this miscreant was baby sitting for the woman. He has a history of violent outbursts a nd a very short temper. The doctors examining the baby found leg fractures as well as brain injuries consistent with abuse and not being dropped. The only one trying to cover this up is the Lopez punk.

My husband had been friends with him in high school and some part before that , he has always had a temper . My hubby was shocked but not surprised that Bert did this . And as far as people questioning whether the daycare could have been involved , well it says in the article that they have a picture taken that very day at daycare and Zoie was fine . Idk . Even the mother doesnt know what really happened that day but it doesnt take a genius to figure out that obviously it was way more than a oops i dropped her thing . My son when he was about 6 mos had fallen pretty hard on his head (due to a careless neighbor) and he was fine . He landed and smacked his head on a hard floor , it was enough to have me worry but in the end he didnt have brain damage , nor did he have broken bones or anything . His story just doesnt make sense .

This guy is a complete coward. This baby must have definitly been shaken. I think they need to bring the baby into the court room so he can face the harsh realties that this little girl's mom has to face every day. She is nothing short of a miracle.

Of course the mother was looked at -****! Child abuse cases are what they are - everyone gets looked at.... of course they looked at the Mom.... but she wasn't home at the time of the CHILD ABUSE so obviously was ruled out immediately -
Everyone is a suspect when a child is hurt in a nonaccidental manner!
Passing judgement isn't really what folks are intending to do on a personal level toward this guy - I just think EVERYONE is tired of hearing about child abuse....
