First off what you can do is hire Tony "photo opt" next month when he looses the election, let him run the paper for you and go out of business. WE would all very much thank you! Two great looser's gone at the same time! How great is that???

It doesn't matter what you do. Your newspaper is a disgrace, your editorial staff are zombies, your journalists are amateurs, and you can't even get a half-way decent circulation staff. I canceled my subscription when the delivery boy was caught by a neighbor of mine peeking in our window on the side of my house watching my wife get dressed after coming out of the shower. The DN did nothing, didn't even offer an apology.

To go along with 3 paragraph stories, etc. No opinion on Monday, what no one cares on Mondays? The amazing shrinking papers, both LA papers are really falling - this is an opportunity to improve the DN? But noooo we gotta cut back.....the sports is dismal, the front page a joke, well at least there is an opinion page..oh see above....

How about getting rid of the opinions and editorial altogether? It's all filled with GOP bigotry anyways.

It's all over but the press release saying it's all over. I guess the release will have to run in the Times, if they still have room for it, or care. Internet, anybody?

the incredible disapearing newspaper...intentional suicide of an industry. I can read the whole paper in less than 5 minutes, and learn nothing. Thank god for the New York Times. No op-ed page? U gotta be freakin kidding me?

Why continue to pay for wire stories that I can read on line for free?

By eliminating local writers and local jobs, the paper is giving its few remaining readers an excuse to just say "cancel."

As times get increasingly tough, whomever is running the place just seems to detach themselves further from their readers and reality.

Letters to the ditor is the best part of the paper. At least some conservatives get to speak, which is rare out here on the left-coast.
