Appauld? You should be.
Like who didn't know this was going to happen? You have to get off your asses and do your jobs, cases don't just solve themselves.
Yes, it is your fault MG. You did it, just admit it. I suppose you are just a tad bit smarter then the people who are supposed to work the case. Hey, we gotta blame someone.

The unsolved murder file of this 14-year-old child collected dust for far too many years.

A community united to give this case & this child a voice. The community petitioned the DA to seek a grand jury for Peggy Reber.

Granted, it took over 40 years, and perhaps the influence of 2,000 residents, or maybe a younger administration, but it stands to reason that Peggy Reber matters.

This case is unsolved at present, but the injustice against this child is not forgotten, or ignored.

Investigators remain challenged, the case unsolved, and a community, along with Peggy, continues to wait....

From WGAL 8 website article:

"The grand jury was critical of Michelle Gooden, a former Lebanon resident, who criticized investigators efforts in finding Reber's killer and helped renew public interest in the case."

So, Nancy Drew, whose life are you going to try to ruin now, since the Grand Jury didn't buy your efforts to slander Mr. Boyer?

Well what did it matter if the case continued to go "ignored" if your mouth was going to hurt the case anyway? Looks like the family had to suffer all over again just to be let down.

The alternative name of "Memorial Day" was first used in 1882. It did not become more common until after World War II, and was not declared the official name by Federal law until 1967. On June 28, 1968, the United States Congress passed the Uniform Holidays Bill, which moved three holidays from their traditional dates to a specified Monday in order to create a convenient three-day weekend. The holidays included Washington's Birthday, now celebrated as Presidents' Day; Veterans Day, and Memorial Day. The change moved Memorial Day from its traditional May 30 date to the last Monday in May. The law took effect at the federal level in 1971.

That took a minute and a half to fact check, something that appears to be lacking in most postings.

The information is informative for historical purposes, but in regards to this crime it holds no purpose.

Peggy Reber was brutally murdered on May 25, 1968.
