IT didnt withstand the idiots, who took the doors and windows out , then want a hand out to fix the thing back to good, IDIOTS!
Theives, you should be sued by every family that got screwed by this deal, who should of had a wonderful life in such a good county, expect the county used a LAW to STEAL land for a project, they knew would not be approved, but were the county, we,ll do what we want, were making out, its now our land to barter or trade with.
I,ve enjoyed this park since i was a toddler, but right is right, and honest, give the families first pick to get there land back, a park can exist around their houses, it would actually be like having live in security, for the late night 4 wheelers.
By the way, the BORDNERS lived in that home, imagin having that rustic architecture, made by your own hands, not pay some contractor, TAKEN FROM YOU, never to go from hand to hand,to your children, the AMERICAN DREAM come true, be turned into the EMENENT DOMAIN NIGHTMARE, HECK it worked for the land for Interstate 81
Ask the Anspocks about that, the land sold to the hotel at the lebanon exit, paid more for a parcel then the family received for the land from their to the pinegrove exit, miles of land An entire farm, miles long, another family screwed by the county, at least I81 got built!

It is wonderful that the Bordner cabin probably be restored, since there is not going to be a dam covering it.....Mr Bordner was the "shop" teacher at Harrison Jr High School,Lebanon Independent Borough in the 1930s and may have had his shop classes help him erect this cabin.....I only started in first grade there in 1941 but my mother who went there before me, talked often of Mr Borner It should be called "the Bordner Memorial Cabin you go! Joellen good luck

The Bordner Memorial Cabin--it should be !!!!
Please save this rare and beautiful cabin. The Bordner family did not
receive a fair amount of money for this property. Now, it is time for
the state to put money into this treasure.
Joellen, it is worth the fight..

Another touchy-feely endeavor to pour tax payer money from 12 million Pennsylvanians into a project which only handful of people will ever see. I suppose we can just reach up and pluck some dollars off of that money tree, you know the one that supplies endless amounts of money for all kinds of stupid expenditures.
