I don't often get my back up about this stuff, but I'll make an exception for David Argall. Argall is a career political hack who has been sucking at the public teat his entire adult life.

Argall lied to to this reporter about not getting a nickel of the pay raise. He took about $8000, but has told others he gave it to charity, but never produced a receipt. He not only voted for the unconstitutional middle of the night pay grab in the state legislature, he helped write it, actively worked to get others to vote for it -- and he never returned the money. Anyone who has so little regard for the truth and taxpayer money has no business being in public office, much less in Congress. We have enough like him in Washington already, including out present representative, Tim Holden. These Schuylkill County guys are all alike.

Lebanon County fired Chip Brightbill and Peter Zug because of their votes for the pay raise. We should reject David Argall as well.

This guy has slimy politician written all over him. Have you heard him speak? All you need to know...

I too oppose Argall and will not vote for him in November if he is the Republican nominee.

In addition to his leadership roll in the pay- raise fiasco, he carried John Perzel's water for years and voted for the 25% increase in pension benefits (50% increase for legislators) for teachers and state workers, which increases are about to significantly increase our school property and other state taxes.

Has Argall ever had a real job?

The very fact that the nemesis of freedom - Mike Long - is working Argall's campaign is reason enough to oppose him.

Real job? Of course Argall has never had a real job. He also has never had a real set of core values. Anyone who has spent his life in political office comes out the back end like Dave Argall. Go along to get along Dave, they call him in his home county.

Argall voted for every Rendell budget but one. PA is in the financial dumper because of Argall and that pack of thieves in Harrisburg. Now he expects voters to double down and send another sorry hack like him to Washington?

Not me. Not ever. I've had enough of his kind in politics.

Dave Argall has an insincere, squeaky little voice emitting from a Munchkin frame. He doesn't howl. He almost whines -- and very annoyingly.

There really is something off about the little guy. Women spot it. My wife noticed it first. He makes her laugh, but not in a good way.

Though she's right, I don't care about the voice so much. I can't stand Argall's brand of politics. Very off-putting

Little Davy was challenged at one of the few public meetings he has bothered to visit by a prospective constituent with a lot of questions. Rather than answer, he kept deferring to Adam Gingrich, asking him to explain his answers to the questioner.

The guy is a loser.

When you screw up at home or work do you blame Adam and Mike Long? Odds are you would never have the sack to ever say anything like this to any one in person.

Argall didn't just vote for the payraise, he was one of six members of the conference committee who created the payraise bill. Those six, snuck into the capitol in the middle of the night and created an unconstitutional payraise scheme.
Argall is now trying to morph into a conservative. Go to the Department of State campaign finance site and check out the hundreds of thousands of dollars Argall has received from unions. PSEA is one of his largest contributors.
He has been endorsed by PA Building Trades and the PA AFL-CIO many times.
Does this sound like a conservative to you.
Argall is a phony.

So, which one of Mike's thin-skinned trolls are you? Maybe Arrogant Adam himself? None of you losers have ever held a real job, either. No wonder you think Dave Argall is qualified.

One small point seems to have escaped you: if you want to see how much sack the guy has, you have to identify yourself so he can face you down, muffin.

Um, Argall voted for the Rendell stimulus! And Rendell care ("Cover All Kids"). He voted for the pension increase, and he wrote the pay raise legislation. Who is this guy kidding? His claim to fame is a recycling bill?!

At a recent forum, I got the impression that Argall was "The Lone POLITICIAN in the GOP race". That should be the story title, judging by his answers. I don't want to be mean about it because I don't know the guy, but I have to say that comparing answers like "I'm running because people asked me to" with the other candidates thought out, informed, constitutionally based answers, I'd choose him last of the 4 and I have to wonder about the party intentions here. I thought that Allen Griffith was most impressive candidate, as did the guy next to me, but ANY of the other 3 would be more passionate about constitution and liberty defense. That's what we need as representation. After Spector, there's no reason to just follow what the party says. Those days are OVER!

"Over the years, I've done a lot of work revitalizing old communities like Tamaqua, Hamburg, and Pottsville which are not unlike Lebanon," he said. "Working with local volunteers and governments to breathe new life and bring new jobs into the economy."

And Tamaqua and Pottsville are still $*!& holes way to go Dave! There aren't any new jobs in either place (except the one's from Walmart)

I am not a political person and this year is different. I read about Mr. Argall's non profit that sells land to his political friends. With OUR taxpayer money. No more of this

At a recent local Candidate's forum Mr Argall gave us his soundbite. "To change Congress you have to first change the Congressman!"

That sound really witty and I don't know who wrote it for him but frankly Mr. Argall-Senator Spector by any other name smells the same! You identify yourself as a Conservative but your records would argue with that.

You don't revitalize anything. You take money from Tax Payer's around the state to fund your "look what I did for this community!" campaign. Just how much of that revitalization money came from your own pocket Mr. Argall. What did you personally contribute to the cause? Please don't include any money you personally stole from the tax payer to get your unconstitutional pay raise.

We are wise to these tactics Mr Argall. You contribute nothing and then you reap the benefits by fooling your constituents into thinking the money comes from you but what you are really doing is stealing from the rest of the state the rest of the state. Now you want to go to Washington and steal from the whole Country.

And as far as the PA-GOP...Get over yourselves and start listening to the people. Stop endorsing candidates because they help make the leadership in the Committee richer. You didn't do us any favors by endorsing candidates before the petitions were even turned in. You slapped us in the face and if Corbett and Cawley win this you better pray for an Attorney General that isn't a Democrat because by the time their done with their ethic investigations you'll have destroyed any integrity the Republican Party has left in this state!

I could not agree more with what I am reading about Mr. Argall. I have heard him and looked at him and ONLY see the 4 "p's" - Pension increase, Pay raise, Per diem, Career Politician. He is not the guy!! My vote is for Allen Griffith - one of us with real answers, real character and real courage!

I watched the web cam coverage of the YR/Dauphin County GOP candidates debate on Monday evening.

I was told that the questions were presented in advance, so the candidates had time to prepare. Allen Griffith sat and READ his answers. They sounded plagiarized. Real answers? Real character? Plus he stacked the room with family members.

Allen Griffith: No experience, no answers and no future in Congress. Don't waste your vote on this guy.

I would not expect you to support a weasel like Argall, then.

Ever try to get into a personal confrontation with Adam? He usually turns and walks away, claiming he doesn't know you and won't talk to he. He is not afraid of attacking women, though; just ask any of the ladies in the Lebanon GOP. The guy is a bully, pure and simple, and withers whenever a man gets back in his face.

Long is more sinister in that he thinks through his game plan, although anyone familiar with political strategies can out step him by two or three moves.

Prediction: Argall - who is not gaining any grassroots traction - will resort to a last minute blitz in the next week or so - heavy with direct mailings and touting his "experience". Do not look for him to engage in any open and free debates; he hasn't the intellect or conviction.
