The 2009 Recovery Act costing $ 787 Billion included,$288 Billion in Tax Cuts. There was $499 Billion in terms of Cash to be Distributed, to programs such as the recently passed Jobs Bill.

Where exactly is the "doubled, tripled, and even quadrupled down on Bush's mistakes" portion of your narrative evident and taking place which is apparently "staring you in the face"?

And yet, still in your support of the Republicans ideas for Nov 2010, you are optioning to go back to those same "Bush's mistakes" the Republicans are promoting...... Do you consider yourself a conscious voter knowledgable of the issues and, if so for over what period of time had you been?

You would be wrong. Most of us here agree that Bush helped to elect Obama. Some, like me, left the Republican party because of Bush. That means that we are able to see clearly, without being at insults to Bush, that Obama has just doubled, tripled, and even quadrupled down on Bush's mistakes but you won't admit that even though it is staring you in the face. But, I know what you are going through. It took me three years to admit that I had made a mistake in voting for Bush and it was a painful admission. You'll eventually come around and be able to see the truth.

Here we go again. Btw, Dante called...he says you're destination is the "7th level".

YOU'RE OFFICIALLY SHOT DOWN IN FLAMES, CRASHED, AND BURNED....in 4 consecutive posts.

Bush -- for all his fiscally LIBERAL policies -- brought us back from the dot-com bust and 9/11. Under Bush the DOW was at 14,000, the deficit under $480 billion, and unemployment at 4.2 - 4.5%.....until 9 months after the democrats took over the House AND the Senate in January, 2007.

It isn't surprising that the left -- and mindless Obamatrons like you -- resort to inacurate criticisms of Bush since they can't defend the indefensible Obama....

Perhaps because of the $3.3 TRILLION of debt that Obama's spending has incurred in just 20 MONTHS (more than Bush incurred in 8 years), AND adding $10 TRILLION to the deficit and nearly 100% debt-to-GDP in 5 years (per the CBO)?

Or because the CBO shows that over the first three years of the Obama Presidency, 2009-2011, the federal government will borrow an estimated $3.7 trillion? Which is MORE THAN THE ENTIRE ACCUMULATE NATIONAL DEBT FOR THE FIRST 225 YEARS OF U.S. HISTORY? And by 2019, the interest payments on this debt will be larger than the budget for education, roads and all other nondefense discretionary spending.?

[continued, Part 2 of 4]

Perhaps you can't defend Obama....

Because Obama's spending plan approved by Congress last February calls for doubling the national debt in five years and nearly tripling it in 10?
.
.
Or because from Jan. 20, 2001, to Jan. 20, 2009, the debt held by the public grew $3 trillion under Mr. Bush -- to $6.3 trillion from $3.3 trillion at a time when the national economy grew as well. By comparison, from the day Mr. Obama took office last year to the end of the current fiscal year, according to the Office of Management and Budget, the debt held by the public will grow by $3.3 trillion. In 20 months, Mr. Obama will add as much debt as Mr. Bush ran up in eight years?
.
.
Or because Obama's major contribution to deficits has been a record spending spree. In 2007, before the recession, federal expenditures reached $2.73 trillion. By 2009 expenditures had climbed to $3.52 trillion. In 2009 alone, overall federal spending rose 18%, or $536 billion. Throw in a $65 billion reduction in debt service costs due to low interest rates, and the overall spending increase was 22%?

In one year.
.
.
Or because the CBO confirms that Democrats have taken federal spending to a new and higher plateau: 24.7% of GDP in 2009, 24.1% this year, and back to an estimated 24.3% in 2011. The modern historical average is about 20.5%, and less than that if you exclude the Reagan defense buildup of the 1980s that helped to win the Cold War and let Bill Clinton reduce defense spending to 3% of GDP in the 1990s?

This means that one of every four dollars produced by the sweat of American private labor is now taxed and redistributed by 535 men and women in Congress.
.
.
Or because, as for the deficit, CBO shows that over the first three years of the Obama Presidency, 2009-2011, the federal government will borrow an estimated $3.7 trillion?

THAT IS MORE THAN THE ENTIRE ACCUMULATE NATIONAL DEBT FOR THE FIRST 225 YEARS OF U.S. HISTORY. By 2019, the interest payments on this debt will be larger than the budget for education, roads and all other nondefense discretionary spending.
.
.
Or because if the middle-class tax cuts remain, the AMT doesn't soak the middle class and spending grows at its historic norm, then CBO concedes "the deficit in 2020 would be nearly the same, historically large, share of GDP that it is today AND THE DEBT HELD BY THE PUBLIC WOULD EQUAL NEARLY 100% OF GDP. And none of this includes a penny for ObamaCare."?

"....What a disgrace the Obozo led democratic party has become."

It think that many long-time democrats are unaware that the current obamination is NOT the democratic party of their fathers and grandfathers. It's been overtaken by whacked liberal progressives, and it took them 90 years to do it.

Those who can't see it are still voting for them. Along with the perpetually entitlement-enslaved, labor unions, the trial lawyers, and every communist and America-hater extant.

While the Tea Party is trying to rid the GOP of RHINOs, liberal republicans and a return to founding conservative principles of limited government, fiscally responsible spending, and pro-business, pro-growth, pro-prosperity, and pro-freedom policies....

it's seems reasonable that a similar contingent should be formed to return the democrats to their roots -- capitalist-hating, business-hating, wealth-redistributing, risk and success punishing, union-loving, military-gutting, entitlements-for-votes pandering, 24/7 politics propagating, taxing, spending, class-envy, racist, power and control mongering, and freedom and liberty thieving, and citizen disempowerment.....which would be a quantum leap better than the uber anti-American radical progressives who've usurped the party.

"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist Professors and the structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night,in the dorms, we discussed neocolonialism, Franz Fanon, Eurocentrism, and patriarchy. When we ground out our cigarettes in the hallway carpet or set our stereos so loud that the walls began to shake, we were resisting bourgeois society's stifling constraints. However, I am going to stay on topic, which is, Obama's failed promise to "create" a single job, and how millions have been lost under his incompetent "leadership," with his income-redistribution plans falsely labeled as health care reform and stimulus.

It's not Acorn, it's MediaMatters, Obama's Soros-funded army of propagandist bloggers...aka far-left progressive liars.

Obama was a board member of the George George Soros-founded Joyce Foundation, which started the far left "Center for American Progress" (CAP) outfit, which Obama also funded, along with MediaMatters, the far-left outfit that funds leftist bloggers. CAP directs Obama's marxist agenda, and was the architect of the $862 billion Stimulus bill, which was outsourced to the Apollo Alliance (another cadre of leftwing radicals based in DC) and part of the Soros-funded Tides Foundation of left-wing radicals. WH advisor Valerie Jarrett remains on the board of Joyce, from which Obama funneled money to the brother of his fellow Annenberg Project board member, terrorist Bill Ayers.

Obama was also involved in the creation of CCX (the Chicago Climate Exchange), expected to gross $10 TRILLION PER YEAR if cap & trade passes. London-based GIM (Generation Investment Management) is the 5th largest shareholder of CCX, and was founded by Al Gore and a slew of Goldman execs.

The alliances and web of corruption, cronyism, collusion, and thuggery goes much, much deeper, however, including the associations and alliances of Obama, Soros, Gore, Raines, Podesta, Jarret, Goldman, GIM, and CCX. It's no accident that Obama's cabinet and radical czar contingent is loaded with former Goldman execs and lobbyists.
