Just a small update on the charges and correction:

Kauri died on October 18th, the first post was a typo - it should have said October 18th not December. The police have not revealed anything else about her death.

Keenu is currently in the Denver County Jail charged with 1st Degree Murder with Deliberation. In non-lawyer speak this means murder (not manslaughter as the original charge was) with pre-meditation, or a pre-planned murder. This is still just a charge and not a conviction, but 1st degree with deliberation is the most serious type of murder charge there is - its the worst case and it means the police think he planned it in advance. Keenu was also driving Kauris truck when he was apprehended, and he alledgely wrecked it in the process as you can see from the photos. The allegation is that he was evading capture.

Thats all the public information available at this time.

Hello friends, i am wondering when the memorial service is or if i have already missed it.

The Denver memorial for the 31st has been postponed. The organizers need more time contacting people, notifying the tattoo magazines, and getting things done. They want to make the memorial/celebration big and to do right for Kauri. Also, they need more time for closure and have more questions answered by police. As soon as details and the date are released for the Denver memorial, everyone will be notified.

However, there will be a celebration of Kauri's life in Summit County, Colorado on the 8th of November at 4 p.m. Location will be Sapphire Point near Lake Dillon.

We just today learned of Kauri's tragic death. All have said and we agree, she was a beautiful soul and we don't believe she would have wanted to die. Our Tatoo's are both unfinished and will remain that way in her honor. Kauri, we love you and you will always be in our hearts.
