The rains held off today, although it did look like rain a few times today. There were no lightning strikes above turtleback mountain like the usual, Two days ago, turtleback mountain was shrouded in cloud cover with lightning strikes, we'll be posting a pic soon of the cloud cover.

Hard hit was Hatch New Mexico a couple of years ago, hopefully they won't suffer floods again, they've had enough. I believe the state of New Mexico has/was working on an arroyo to help improve and redirect flood waters away from Hatch, which was devastated.

If we receive heavy rains here in T or C, we'll be out taking pictures of the downtown area. The downtown area has no subsurface drainage system, so, vitually all stores/businesses have to resort to sandbagging.
