The blame.. goes to the American Public.. yup, Joe Six Pack and Soccermom... they don't read.. they don't do their work.. and jump on the bandwagon.. why do you think negative ads work? The politicians don't focus on their ideas and answers.. they focus on the negative attacks on the other candidate......

Both Parties are at blame.... but the American People are the first in line..

I work pretty damned hard too by putting in 50-60+ hour work weeks and so does my wife for that matter, and some how we are considered rich. We make too much money to get s stimulus package, but not enough to have 50 million tax write offs. It just seems to me the harder you do work to get somewhere in life the more you get screwed. I have no use for most wealthy, rich, affluent, what ever you want to call them, people. Most of them had their fortunes handed to them. But us hard working people, I have respect for every one of them. It seems to me that when you try to pull yourself out of the hole that most of us were born into, that you get kicked in the nads. My perception is that most think that success is evil or just bad. And if that is reality that is sad.

So I would like to know what the definition of rich is?

I agree with you whole-heartedly! The 'rich' I am referring to are those born into wealth. If you worked hard for your money then you can rest easy at night knowing you have put in a good day's work. And it sickens me that someone like you or I gets the shaft for it!

So does that mean if King Jeremy who worked hard all his life gives his wealth to his kids (which lets say that was his reason for working in the first place) then that is a bad thing?? Would they not be "Born into wealth"? I think this is the USA and anyone should be entitled to do with whatever they want with THEIR $$ whether they have lots or not.

It's the people who corrupt that passion for their own nefarious purposes that give the Conservatives the bad name that they have today. Real conservatives are fair minded people, they are not the hypocrites the neokons have turned them into.

Let me reply to this. My kids were raised knowing that they better work hard to get to a level of success equivalent to the one that my wife and I have. Personally, my good fortune will allow doors to be opened for my kids, i.e. enough money to get them through college and get a good job so that they can achieve greater things than I have. Believe me, all the money that I make that is in excess of what is needed to get my kids a good education is going to be spent on my wife and I. Hell we deserve it as hard as we have worked. Besides, it will keep my kids from fighting with each other after I am gone.

Wrong again, Larry. I don't think liberals are stupid. Left wing extremists can be ignorant and narrow minded, but the same can be said about the extreme right.
