Time to move on in IU history! I'm glad this joke is gone and we can get back to being a respectable program!

Nice to see that IU didn't give in to the players demands. If they're wise, they'll make sure Greenspan is quickly following him out the door.

Sampson is a crook...

I bet he played indiana like a fiddle just to get a nice settlement....

As much as I dislike IU, I do feel bad for you today(didn't think I would ever say that)....

Where can I get a job that pays me $750,000 when I get fired? Because that is the job for me! If White and the other players don't play to make a statement then IU should bench them the rest of the season. Play with freshman and walk-ons if necessary. After all it is only a dumb old ball game.

I find myself very sad about this. Not for Sampson, he made his own bed, but for the players and the fans. We were on the right track to building the program back to a national power. Now, we have been set back probably 4 years.

The most frustrating thing about the whole situation is that Sampson didn't have to do what he did. Players were coming in droves anyway.

How exactly do I get a job where I break the rules, lie to my boss and then get to take $750,000 with me when I'm shown the door????

I just spent 20 minutes reading Sampson's contract. The contract states that he must have comprehensive knowledge of all NCAA and Big Ten rules. It also states that he can be terminated with cause for violating theses rules. In such case the University owes him nothing. Why pay the cheater $750,000?

McCallum should have been named coach. These kids could teach the fickle fans some things about loyalty.

Go IU.
