Wow, this sounds like a completely unique experience. Sports bar, wings and sandwiches, DJ. How could it fail?

Nasty, rude , obnoxious just a few of the
words to describe many who post on these
forums. How depressing it must be to be that
negative about everything.
Mr. Conley I wish you good luck on your
new establishment....at least there are a few
people willing to take a risk in this
sluggish economy. To those who criticize why
not get off your sorry rear end and contribute
to society in a meaningful way instead of
focusing on the negative you see in everyone else.

so I guess you will be eating there to support this admirable endeavor? Or were you just also posting nasty, rude , and obnoxious words directed at the many people who have posted their thoughts freely in this forum?

Shame!Shame!Shame! on you Richard, this sounds like grade school stuff you are posting. Grow up and take life as it comes, it's too short anyway. Enjoy and forget the past dealing's with anyone.

My wife and I stopped in @ Back Woods Bar and Grill last night. What great food! The homemade pot pie was very tasty and the pot roast sandwich was smoking. We are hoping it will be a success because we live close by and seems like its going to be a great place to hangout and watch a game.

Restaurants closing everyday and Backwoods just opens? What is going to draw patrons, the 'Sports Bar' concept. Good idea, that hasn't been done before. I give it 4 months.

All these negative comments - what a shame. Backwoods is a great alternative to the other places around. This has a potential to be a place "where everbody knows your name" type of establishment. The food is great and you definitely get your money's worth.

Ate there yesterday, friendly people, good wings, although the hot sauce could have been hotter, burgers and fries. $5 pitchers. Nice set up.

I think they need karaoke -- I've heard that Big Fish Entertainment is looking for a midweek gig, and they're really good! Lots of songs, and the DJs are fun!

They have a full menu, not just bar food. Specials during the week, and 64oz. pitchers for 5 bucks every day. They have anything from burgers and fries to steaks and seafood. "The prices you can't hardly pass up. They even have a game room and several tv's. Try it you'll like it.

i found the food not so good at all frankly there is only one sports bar that i feel is worth the gas in my car to drive out to etters is the Field House it might be still trying to find its way after the other places before them but they are "where everybody knows your name"
Is it is the same owners

does anyone know if the owners are the same owners as Gia's? I would give it a try....but would never eat there if the owners are the same..if I found out I would walk out...Gias was the worse experience I ever had in a restaurant...the food sucked...everything was burnt!!! Can someone shed some light on this? I know the Gia's owners would try to do something like this...because the place was going under....like they did with Newberry diner...except they kept calling it under new management...

Why is everyone so pessimistic? This place is actually quite enjoyable and the prices are wonderful. Big deal if it opens on Christmas day or if it's not the first sports bar... what are you people expecting in redneck country Pennsylvania?
