Not another motorcycle. I hope the rider and everyone else is fine. Please, everyone do not be in such a hurry. Be courteous and use common sense. Slow down and save yours and possibly someone else's life.

I came across the accident shortly after it happened and I was hoping the motorcycle driver and the others involved were okay too.

Certainly this did not occur at the location of the world's shortest enterance ramp.

I would support a public execution of the fools who designed and approved this ramp.

PennDot should be ashamed to design such poor highways.

The same entrance ramp that ALSO serves as an EXIT ramp, right!? What an engineering joke! I don't care how much traffic the road was designed for; why in the world make ramps so short, and then make it worse by having the ramp serve cars entering AND exiting?

How much you want to bet that the second accident was caused by a rubber necker?

No mention on the motorcyle accident in YDR, anyone know if he/she survived? Only saw the body laying on the side of 83 and the bike underneath the guardrail. Hoping to hear that rider survived...

I don't understand, this is the only publication that has even reported this accident. Then , the report does not match what I had seen at the scene. The motorcycle was lying on the southbound right shoulder as was the rider.
Lousy reporting!

To this day a large portion of the Ramps remain the same as they were in the 50's when the road was built and designed, I guess it doesn't need to be said that 2010 traffic volumes don't fit very well with this.

But the accidents weren't at the ramps, they were a mile north between Market and 30

A totally bad area for miles. Way over congested. And the ramps are worst then driving I-95 near Washington , DC. Easier to drive the 405 or 5 in Southern CA near LA .
Something needs to be done or is this one more way of lowering the population of york area.

Apparently the motorcyclist is in satisfactory condition.
