Evidently this guy is pure evil.

Wonder how complicit in this enterprise his attorney is?

I hope the bar association and other appropriate venues look into the bizarre defense and absurd accusations given by this attorney.

This demon has the elements of a serial killer/offender and really deserves the punishments allowed by law.
Put him away to rot. He dug his own hole.

Animal cruelty is one of the early signs of a psychopath. That is why education (keep on supporting our Hawaiian Humane Society)is important and people need to report this type of heinous behavior.

If later she is found at the marine base - could he be up for the death penalty or would double jeopardy come into play...

He needs to say where he left her body.

Good girl Corrine Lankford.

Another long day with his dumb picture in all the papers again.

At least Corrine Lankford is shining like a true champ.

Her life must of been true hell living with this jerk.

Holy cow, I am glad I am not married to a girl like her. Maybe if she took better care of her husband, none of this would have happened, assuming that he is truly guilty.

lankford is like the politician who had a bad contact lens, leg problem who got caught drunk and pleaded innocent.

Let's not get sidetracked by the "Amiel" comment. He's obviously an Internet troll ("someone who posts controversial...messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response...")

The evidence and the jury has spoken on this disturbed, sociopathic individual. It's unfortunate that the taxpayers have to house and feed him for the rest of his life but he's where he belongs. I vote for no chance for parole.

Steve, since you or no one else was there, I am not sure how you feel you have the right to pass judgement on someone else. Shame on you.

Kirk Lankford married Corinne when she was 16 years old with a falsified parental consent approval. Corinne, 19 years old, looks child-like even today. Masumi Watanabe's sacrifice has given Corinne a life free from bondage.

Amiel, to question the judgement of 12 jurors is a bit like passing judgement 12 fold, is it not? Especially when you clearly don't know doodly crap about any of this and are talking out of your crapper.

I agree Lankford appears to have the traits of a serial killer.

There is that triad that indicates whether someone is sociopathic, I think if someone has these three traits they are showing possible signs:

1. Bed wetting
2. Fire starting
3. Cruelty to animals

Lankford had no criminal record in Hawaii or his native state, but one needs to dig deeper into his past, talk to his teachers, his school-mates, his counselors.

And especially those who raised him, either his parents, step-parents or other relatives.

Ahem... it's "castrate", tutu, "castrate". While he was found guilty of murder, and likely to spend his life behind bars, let's not result to barbarism and cut the guys nuts off, kthx?

There were no sexual allegations and no previous charges. Let's put the "sexual predator" witch hunt to bed, please.

If only you were more passionate about cleaning up your family that you do a total stranger, maybe YOU could have prevented the downfall of some of your friends/relatives/nephews/niec es.

Yep, he needs to stay in prison, his stories were all baloney from the beginning and he is very calculating and calm (deceiving). I believe the wife and give her big ups for having the courage and guts to make sure no other girl gets hurt. Remember he did finally admit he saw and hit Masumi. You busted brah and you need to make it up to masumi and her parents with your own life. It's just reaping what you sow.

Lankford is history..he will die in prison...hopefully at the hands of other inmates...only then will just be served.

Another interesting thing is that like many sociopatchs or serial killers Lankford had a very docile, timid wife whom he could dominate and control.

Like the former FBI serial profiler John Douglas said, it's all about:

"Manipulation, domination, control."
