1 Think of it this way. Down here she couldn't remember who she was and what she did. At least up there, if there is a heaven, she now knows what an icon she was. |

2 Thanks for the wonderful memories. Even as a kid, I enjoyed that show. I was saddened to hear of her passing. Good luck to her family, and may you find comfort in knowing that, for a little bit each day, she let millions of people find comfort in her skills. May you Rest in Peace. |

1 Isn't it funny how we can grieve for people we have never met? I'm still weeping. |

1 They were all remarkable and formed a perfect synergy. Dorothy, always hinting about Shady Pines. Blanche, the ****! Rose talking about Saint Olaf. Sophia and "picture this...Italy, a beautiful young girl"...etc. Yes, it wasn't just the show, it was the good times I remember watching with my family. We all laughed. |

Do you have a favorite episode? Remember a young George Clooney? Stan and his weirdo gadgets? When the "girls" entered a dance contest? What about when Sophia was busy working everywhere and everyone thought she was sitting at the beach. Yep, great show, wonderful characters, and I think some heart of each them always showed up. Sad. Sitcoms are not so funny anymore. I still think that there was "magic" in that show. Love. |
