ADA wrote: <quoted text> You are crippled, upstairs. So now you think that being gay is a REDEEMING QUALITY? Talk about a stereotype on wheels. What would you know about redeeming qualities? lol And no, not crippled upstairs at all, but it seems like the general consensus on this (and other)blog for you is that you seem to have some cranial deficiency that allows you to post, hateful, spiteful and uneducated statements at the expense of other people, all the while hiding your identtity to avoid retribution. Ooops, more big words, I'm sure you could pay someone to explain them to you. Have a great weekend, and don't forget, put the shotgun in your mouth to be really effective.

I never said that unless you are gay (donutpuncher? who's the **** now?) you have no redeeming qualities. I simply meant that ADA is such an ****, that if he was gay, that would be a redeeming quality for him. As for the 500 pound man? Eating at Applebee's he should reconsider his diet.

Was it impossible for the owners to make or at least attempt to demonstrate their intention of coming in to compliance to stave off the lawsuit? Just wondering.... If they submit a business plan to correct the repairs over time it satisfies the requirements of the ADA and title 24. And all repair costs is tax deductable. and yes the property owner is responsible as he rented a commercial property that was out of code compliance. but it is up to the business owner and the property owner to bargain about who fixes what.

Knowing a resturant owner that had his business shut down, I've personally seen the devastation to ones life and business.. He was told he had to hire only a state Disability approved contrator for the job cost $45,000.00 Bids from local contractors, frequent customers, and also people who offered to volunteer, the cost $2,000.00, for the same exact work.... This is what they do to small businesses cheat them on cost and leave them in the cold.

That's still wrong. Being gay isn't a redeeming quality unless you are one of those shallow people that stereotypes everybody you meet, which you seem to do. What's next on your list of redeeming quality list, being white, being black, chinese, male, female, deaf, skinny, jewish?

Simple enough for you? Or do I need to write it out in crayon so you can understand?

I think the lawyer is doing a favor to the north coast by closing these old grease & sugar joints. Maybe it'll help cut down on the cardio deaths around here.

Geoffrey,
If I did end up in a wheel chair for life, as a burden to loved ones and society, I'd have the courage and decency to do the right thing: I'd kill myself.
I'm no Stephen Hawking (the genius physicist in a wheel chair). And I'm not going to find a cure for cancer. The human race could do just fine without me, just as it could do fine without you and all your worthless loser pals who see themselves as victims.
Stop being victims. Take charge. Make a statement: Kill yourselves on YouTube.
