In the 50's it was " Tell Laura I love her", When in the 60's you needed a good car crash tune, we enjoyed "Dead man's curb" by Jan&Dean. Moral here:(1)Don't steal cars.(2)Don't steal cars you cant drive.(3)Listen to more early rock and role.(4) Reconstructive surgery is very expensive.(5) Rehab. is forever.(6) Only God can make an arm...

Well, the kid is definitely disabled now. Isn't there some attorney over there that will take the case. Sounds to me like the jeep owner failed to maintain his rig in good working order.

Nah, think "Deep Pockets", JEEP didn't take into consideration the vehicle being stolen by a stupid, lovesick juvenile on the run when designing their vehicles, should be worth $10 million easy.....

Amazing the mental gymnastics we are capable of doing to keep the bad guys in the bad guys column. The poor s.o.b. made a mistake that will be with him the rest of his life. For most of us, our stupid youthful antics didn't cost us nearly as much. I hate crime and criminals, but I just feel sorry for this guy.

He's lucky he crashed in California. If he would have made it to old Mexico and pulled the same stunt he wouldn't have been so lucky as far as jail and medical treatment. Those boys down there don't think much of free medical aid for foreign felons.

Yeah, but they can come here and get free healthcare. Maybe we should think more like them.

The people who own the jeep are mostly the ones going to be sued over the ignorant judgment of a stupid teenager. It happens time after time that when some gets injured in a vehicle whether it was stolen or not have to pay for the damages done.
