Red Cross volunteers respond to Ferndale fire

Volunteers with the American Red Cross responded early Monday morning to reports a Ferndale family was displaced from their home after it was badly damaged in a fire.

Could there be any less information in this thing? Does anyone there pick up the phone and ask a couple of basic questions?

Pick up the phone? Are you kidding? That would be way to hard for this paper. I am pretty sure that they get their info from a press release and instead of writing something about it FROM the release, they just copied it verbatim. Wouldn't that be plagiarism? Another shining example of a job well done. NOT
