Remember when the Tigua "Indian" leaders led an ETHNIC CLEANSING of their fellow citizens? This happened before they opened up their casino. They kicked out fellow tribesmen who had been living in their homes for decades just so that they wouldn't have to share their profits with them. The Tigua 'Indians" are nothing more than a greedy pseudo-tribe. They get what they deserve.

Every non-Indian American or his ancestors left their homes for a better life in this country. A lot of Indians have left their homelands for a better life too. They have given up a lot and made tremendous sacrifices to better themselves and make a better life for their families. The ones who choose to stay on the reservation and on the government pad typically are those who are too lazy and ignorant to make their way in the world. Giving up a little "religious freedom" for national security is a small price to pay. If it's that important to you, why don't you erect a fence all the way around your reservation. Butt it right up to the Homeland Security fence. They would probably go for that, and you could keep your sacred grounds inside your fence.

From Clark in Phoenix, "The ones who choose to stay on the reservation and on the government pad typically are those who are too lazy and ignorant to make their way in the world. WOW..as you enjoy your own religious freedom in the comfort of your own high valued home in Phoenix. Nice and I thought there were only people prejudice against Mexicans on these forums.

<quoted text> We are not "walling, fencing " ourselves in, the wall/fence is to keep ILLEGAL Mexicans, Hondurans, Iranians, Egyptians OUT. It may not be the best thing, but it will certainly help. Just the fact that people like YOU, the Mexican Governemnt, the Drug Dealers and some U.S. politicos, don't like the walls/fences, means they WILL do a good job at keeping YOU out. And thats what it is for, to keep people OUT, who are trying to enter the U.S. ILLEGALLY and for criminal purposes.
so the wall will save us all

...that continue to push for a fence/wall whatever and have no business what so ever even knowing what the heck is going on here on the border. In particular, saying its ok to put this thing in someone's back yard. Well of course its not their own backyard so why do they care. People from outside of El Paso and other border towns need to mind their own business or live a day in our shoes.

They are minding their own business. It is all the illegals coming through our back yard that are affecting their business.

The American public spoke clearly on this one - stop illegal immigration, and to that end, build a fence. Public opinion -> elected representatives -> bill -> law. Now comes judicial review, which I expect will be a prolonged process. You may have your open borders yet, but there is that whole pesky legal process thing some folks are always clamoring about. Funny how it isn't an issue when illegal-coddling laws and policies are adopted, it's full speed ahead.

the tiguas crappy casino vends nothing but chinese made substandard trinkets, these faux injuns have running $kum, i mean running bear gas stations to live off of. im glad that crummy ghetto casino had to close...my grandma is way happier mingling with non $kum socioeconomic losers at sunland park than those that patronize that video gaming hut they call a casino. Oh and hey let those 1/256 % injun traitors play in the rio, they will look just like the illegals that wade in that cesspool next to asarco.

Hey, let's try the FENCE (for the last freakin' time). If it doesn't do ANY good, we can let Barak hire all the newly-amnestied illegal aliens to remove it, and take the pieces home to build their own little habitat for humanity in your backyard.

The Tiguas (Tihuas) and the Isleta branches of the Pueblos in the Santa Fe area betrayed their brethren in the Pueblo nation in 1680 when the Pueblos successfully revolted against Spanish domination. The Spanish and their Tigua and Ysleta traitors Pueblos retreated to the El Paso area for 12 years until Spain could complete the "Reconquista" and move back to northern New Mexico. The Tiguas and Ysletas knew they would always be considered traitors in the Pueblo nation, so they did not go back to Northern New Mexico after the Reconquista.
What the Tiguas and Ysleta Indians really are, are squatters on what was once Spanish territory. 300 years of occupation does not necessarily sanctify and elevate the terrain to "sacred grounds."
Wow, everybody is a historian when it comes to Native people. Well if you dig deep enough you will find that there were indigenous people in the area before spanish arrival. 500 years of occupation does not necessarily sanctify and elevate the terrian to "sacred grounds" for Europeans either. But how can Natives expect Euro-Americans to comprehend the meaning of "sacred ground"? All their sacred sites are in Europe. Native spirituality is not timelocked. They can and still do have sacred experiences that are tied to the land. The ability to have these experiences is not locked in a book and they do not have to rely upon the spiritual experiences from guys who have been dead for over 2000 years and are written in a book. And if you can agree that Christians or any other faiths can have spiritual experiences beyond what's written in a book, then you can see why the Tiguas feel the way they do about their ceremonies.

The Tiquas csn do what Mexicans and others will be doing.....that is utilizing Raul's, oncoming, 21' Ladder Rental Service. Raul is also planning a Bill Board Sign Rental Service to be affixed to the Mexican side of the fence. Such signage will advertise for American Employers what jobs are available, along with benefits.
All kidding aside, the U.S. has continued to step on Native Americans' rights and/or so called treaties and/or lack thereof. In Guadalupe Hidalgo, for instance, where were the Native American's considered? Truly, all Mexicans are Native Americans before Guadalupe Hidalgo and are still Native Americans after Guadalupe Hidalgo, but with no rights to part of there homeland.....and as my grandson would say whats up with that grandpa? The partial answer, on one side is called "Illegal Immigration", but to the Mexican is called part of their homeland.

Judicial Review?????????? Homeland security has said they will ignore all rights of the landlords in building the fence. The biggest gripe is not about the fence but property owners losing their land without compensation.

It is really funny how everybody wants/complains about illegals but all solutions are to clamp down on the illegals for coming here and getting jobs that U S Companies are giving them. The lastest bust at some kosher plant was 300 plus. A few weeks before that Pilgrims Pride was caughtg with illegals working at their plants and the U S Attorney said that there will be no charges filed against Pilgrim Pride. Wow. Boy, i betcha Pilgrim Pride is really worried about hiring illegals in the future--lol. The only way illegals will stop coming to the U S is if we do something about the U S business'es that hire them. No work, they will not come. I never see anything in these forums about stopping the business'es that hire the illegals.

You would think if people were going to insult others they would to it in an intelligent manner.

But then again, whoever heard of a smart bigot?
