We do pay taxes, have all along, however if our church has to pay taxes they the outreach that most do now could not happen as it currently does.
Where is this outreach. Maybe the ones in Africa that burned children as witches.

You keep bring up Africa, Somalia, rape burning of children as witches, anything to try to convince the weak in mind of your immature notion of atheism. It isn't working. As you can see the topic has burned itself out with only a few of us who are still trying to convince you select few of the possibility of an education to the real purpose in life. Carry on,and pitch your story to someone else!

Who cares? I shouldn't have to pay more taxes because your church offers someone a ham sandwich once in a while. And if they aren't going to pay taxes, they have no right to work against the citizens who do.

You're not qualified to tell me what the "true purpose" of my life is.

I understand your concern also, but realize that Churches are not meant to reach out to everybody. Us members are to give in order to support the poor amongst us, Paul warned repeatedly about giving to the undeserving (lazy people, Young Women, etc.) look it up!
Secondly, Jesus Commanded us to give what is Caesar's to Caesar. Jesus also chose tax collectors as followers. I think the teaching is clear, church takes of church, taxes take care of the rest! Churches should not be exempt from taxes!

The Bible actually teaches the church itself against this type of outreach for various reasons, greed, laziness, corruption, etc. Instead we are commanded to pay our taxes cheerfully, something so many greedy Christians have forgotten. Many modern Christian think like the Jews of old, look it up sometime!

a ham sanwich, a coat for his children a job, a place to stay, education for their children. This way they can get off welfare, and unemployment, foodstamps so you don't have to for all that, and keep them in poverty.

When we combine thithes and offering to our church we are able to help alot more people with much more than just food and clothing, they can offer grief counceling, family counceling, employment oppurtunities, much more than any one individual can do. We as individuals should be helping our church, and churches can help the poor with far better effeciency.

I tend to disagree with that statement. The burden also falls on you guys.
Thanks for demonstrating that you don't grasp even the basics of science, Skippy. But my advice is to educate yourself before you attempt to sound like you know something... especially when it is something that you DON'T understand.

Burden of proof is on the one making the positive assertion that some juju in the sky exists. For example.. if I call you a child molester.. the burden of proof is mine.. I have to prove that you are.

Nope, I'm not going away until all your idiots are either swept under societies door mat or end this nonsensical crap.
What is the magical real purpose in life? To be a God bot?
No thanks. I'll take hell. It's obviously where the real party is anyway. George Carlin, Thomas Jefferson, all the thought provoking conversation. Plus I can sin all I want. Sounds like a sweet place even if it is a little hot.
