The LAPD has pinpointed 17 officers and two sergeants for misconduct during last year's May Day march, when police shot rubber bullets and used batons to clear hundreds of peaceful immigration protestors from ...

Bratton it's time you grow some stones and back your officers and tell these ACLU pukes to pound sand when you are in this country illegally you have no rights.

I agree with "the Kind". Bratton so afraid of Viagragrossa that he is willing to throw his brave under the bus. How pathetic. Now Viagragrossa and team will work with the ACLU/La Raza types to give them money that L.A. doesn't have.
Vote for Walter Moore for Mayor. |

Oops, sorry King

That's right, King.
Support the officers and round up and prosecute illegals who storm our borders and block our traffic to scream about their "rights." |

WHY ANY MAN WOULD HIRE ON TO WORK FOR THAT GUY ( BRATTON ) IS BEYOND ME .......... INSTEAD OF " ALLOWING " THEM TO MARCH IN PROTEST THEY SHOULD'VE HAD THE LAPD AND ICE ROUNDING THEM UP AND PUTTING THEM ON BUSES TO TAKE THEM TO THE BORDER !!!!!! WHAT PART OF THE WORD ILLEGAL DO OUR OFFICIALS NOT UNDERSTAND ???? ONCE AGAIN WE HAVE A CASE OF THE INMATES RUNNING THE ASYLUM !!! DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON VILLALARAZA !!!

I dont think they did anythig wrong, myself. If the police ask you to leave, dont stand there and shout in theyre face WHY WHY WHY. Maybe they dont have time to tell everyone of the people there WHY. Just go. Go fast, and dont throw stuff at them either. Police dont like things thrown at them. It upsets them, makes them want to kick your a%$, just like it would you. But no, we cant let our cops, the same people you call when your a*% hole husband gets drunk and starts whipping your butt, show emothional bursts. This whole outbreak could have been avoided if the dumbarse people there would have just done what they were told to do and LEAVE. After all, the police were also speaking in Spanish after all.

" NO TASK IS TOO DIFFICULT, ESPECIALLY FOR THE ONE, THAT DOES NOT HAVE TO DO IT " Politics come and go , Police officers have to stay to enforce the laws , and remain for the next set of clowns and their agenda's .

The May Day incident was sparked by protesters throwing objects at police officers, and then refusing to clear the park. By using the words "peaceful immigration protesters" staff writer Rachel Uranga has successfully injected her own biased version of what had happened.
As for using the word "immigration" instead of "law-breaking", or "illegal entry/trespassing," I can understand it's so much easier to copy Villaraigosa's and La Raza's verbiage than writing your own. So good luck with your career, Uranga! |

This is Pathetic !!!!!!!!!! mayor Antonio Viva MEXICAN and his MEXICAN Cronies Rachel Uranga have put the ILLEGIAL spin on another crime. LAPD get some balls you bunch of chicken **** yes people. How do they keep getting elected, OH yea The Ignorant Illegal's back them up ! The police didn't start this but I am sure it is all of there fault. This country was built on Immigrants, but they were willing to work hard I don’t think they expected to get everything for FREE. There is a price to pay and the mayor doesn't get it. This is ****!!!!!!

Perhaps it would be wiser at the next large conflict, To have the Mayor, Bratton, their cronies, put on the Uniform, I can vision the mayor arguing with a large group, Bratton looking through his crowd control book, the cronies wondering ! what to do ? The crowd sensing weakness quickly turns on them, Takes their badges, weapons away as they begin to cry , NOW they call for back-up from the police to restore order. As they whimper back to the station and wonder to themselves WHAT WENT WRONG ? the crowd didn't act the way the they are supposed to ? I slapped myself back to reality , or did I.

Of course, half of the comments are full of spelling and grammatical errors as they call others ignorant. Apparently, there is a lack of ability to read, too, as many of the comments are filled with factual inaccuracies (not to mention the outright bigotry in some comments.) Things like the LAPD was giving dispersal warnings in Spanish--wrong, only English. Things like those there were illegal immigrants or even necessarily supported illegal immigration--wrong again, the rally was to bring to light the problems faced by illegal and legal immigrants alike who already in this country. Really, illegals generally "fly under the radar", not involve themselves in conflicts with the police.
In fact, several of the officers there used EXCESSIVE force, beating people that were putting up no resistance, beating neutral observers and beating several news reporters and cameramen (wow! even white ones.) And, they were stupid enough to do it in front of cameras--doh. Not all the officers used excessive force but the ones that did get what they deserve. Many LAPD officers actually hold true to the LAPD motto "To Protect and to Serve". You shouldn't be enforcing the law by breaking the law. |

The cops were pumped up. The protester's issues were highly emotional. This was an explosion waiting to happen. My advice to LAPD....do not act like the gestapo when the video is taping. Do not beat up new reporters. It's as if the police were rioting.........

Oh this sucks. The ILLEGALS come here and the cops get arrested. The ILLEGALS are committing crimes every minute of every day. This just sucks.

And they wonder why they don't get quality officers to hire! Back your guys. Let them do their jobs, THEN actually back them when they do it. California is the liberal capital of our country and the ACLU and the 9th Circuit Court is doing more harm than good.
And to all of you who do not work in law enforcement, don't pretend you know what it's like, don't pretend to think you know what the term excessive force means, and don't sit in your computer chair and second guess. Chances are, you don't have the stones to do what law enforcement does on a daily basis! |
|
excellent post, your right who in their right mind would want to work for that gourp of yes men. |

Being thatI'm the only one who mentioned "excessive force" I am assuming you may be directing your diatribe at me. No matter, it wasn't I that determined these officers used excessive (or inappropriate) force it was the LAPD. And, no matter what you or any of the others that are trashing the LAPD command claim, it doesn't wash as the LAPD is one of the finest PD's in the world. Somehow it is OK to second guess an investigation by a PD command to keep the shield clean but it's not OK to second guess what might be excessive force. Second, I wonder if you are the one that doesn't work in law enforcement as you certainly don't seem to care about breaking the law to enforce the law and, that my friend, is what allows some officers to disgrace the shield. "second guessing" was not involved in this reprimand action--it was on video tape--several tapes, actually. Oh, BTW, the LAPD has plenty of good cops hired--get a job and stop sitting at your computer dissing cops. |

THE LAW IS THE LAW, SORRY FOLKS..
