Come on, Holly Z., "the Foxhole, a run-down, garage-like building " vs the New Beginnings Ministries "tidy church building."? Don't you mean "church-in-a-house"? Dunfee calling George a parasite is pretty funny. Pot meet kettle!

To me, both sides exhibited poor taste. As a Christian, I wouldn't let a business like that hinder my walk. The real question is, what is New Beginnings doing to help those women and their families instead of giving the Christian community another black eye?

Regret won't even begin to describe the feelings of George and his sleaze bag women when they stand in front of Almighty God on Judgment Day as they contemplate an eternity of constant torment in a very real Hell. Don't believe me? Read the Bible - it's all there!

Read the bible? I'd rather read the phone book. How about something definitive?

Even as an atheist, I whole-heartedly agree with you.

This is what ticks me off about the religious right. I am Catholic and the last time I was in a strip joint was back in 94 for a bachelor party. And I am sure some terd thinks I will burn in hell as a result. If somebody wants to go to a strip joint let them. Are they hurting anyone? No. Probably spending a ton of money. Money that could be spent elsewhere, but it is their money. If the joint was next to the church I see why they would complain, but 7 miles apart. Come on New Beginnings. You are what is wrong with organized religion.

Well Said. "Gentlemen's" clubs degrade women. Religious behavior like this degrades religion.

There is no such God as you see it, it is merely a figment of your imagination, used as a crutch to get you through life. Live and let live. If I was Tommy, I have the women enter the church in their bikinis. The preacher is lucky the women don't protest topless, since that is legal in ohoho.

If I read the article correctly, the trouble started when the churchgoers began blocking access to the strip club. This is harrassment, and should have been dealt with legally then and there.

Now, the strip clubbers are harrassing the churchgoers.

Why can't both sides just worry about themselves instead of acting like children?

The church was wrong for casting the first stone.
On judgement day, the people of this congrgation will be extremely disappointed to see so many strippers accepted, while the churchgoers are trying and explain how they were confused on what true love, and true hate, really are.

I am looking for something to suppliment my retirement. I wonder if they hire 6'4", 260# men there? I can dance pretty well, in an old white dude kind of way.
