Off topic- The great global warming effects of the most abundant greenhouse gas-H20. Please get on a website(google it) and sign the petition to stop this greenhouse gas. We MUST clean up All sources of H20, so that we can reduce the amount spewed into the atmosphere Each And EVERY second.
What is funny is that even the global warming websites totally ignore this polluting sunstance.
Join me please, for the sake of our planet, our lives, our children, reduce H20!!!!!

You are attributing to me words I never said, so obviously debating with you is a lost cause.
Debate would be a presentation of facts to back up your opinion and defend you view point. Your straw man tactics are exactly the kind of thing I find intolerable in legitimate debate.

As to those words, they were right from the letter penned by Mr. Roy. Which would substantiate that my points were indeed germane to the thread and the forum.

But this is obvious political theater, a.k.a.'showboating'. They have no authority to do this, it is a Federal matter.
Please read the 10th amendment before generalizing.

How about the first amendment? We have the right to free speech, to speak is to emit CO2 and therefore we have the right to emit CO2.

Let's debate!

Nope, nope, nope! No exhaling people! CO2! No speaking, talking, none of that anymore! Every time you do these things you spew CO2 into the atmosphere & we simply cannot have that! So, please, stop breathing & talking thank you...

Man-made global warming is a hoax used by Obama and his accomplices to force us to swallow Obama's ACES Act (global warming/cap and trade scam), a huge Ponzy scheme that will kill the U.S. economy and enslave us.
Global warming is not just an American issue. That's why the call it ""Global". American right / left politics is a AMERICAN issue. Global warming is a GLOBAL issue.
If you still don't get it, you can go back to looking for leaks in your hat. Obama's evil minions are putting tiny invisible pinholes in the nation's aluminum foil so they can control you. But you already knew that, didn't you.

<quoted text>I am on your side. There is no rational argument on having clean air and water.
Would you be content with less "stuff" in order to have those things? Would you be willing to buy lifetime quality furniture instead of filling the dumpsters with made-in-China trash? Fewer overseas vacations, more expensive gasoline, less imported tropical fruit in winter? Would you be willing to use less heating and cooling, and accept that temperatures vary a bit with the seasons? Would you be willing to accept that it's dark at night instead of keeping your world lit 24-7?

Those are some of the attitude changes that would be necessary, whether we want to reduce greenhouse gases or just reduce pollution. We would have to decide we no longer need to pamper ourselves as if we were fragile.

EPA May Have Suppressed Report Skeptical Of Global Warming

Carlin's report listed a number of recent developments he said the EPA did not consider, including that global temperatures have declined for 11 years; that new research predicts Atlantic hurricanes will be unaffected; that there's "little evidence" that Greenland is shedding ice at expected levels; and that solar radiation has the largest single effect on the earth's temperature.

This is a good example to show that the debate isn't over, yet lets tax everyone in the meantime and ruin the economy. That's a great idea. To the nay sayers, the economy affects you to. Hope you like those mud huts, I hear they are fairly cheap.

It's a crock.
So in summary, what we have is a ragbag collection of un-peer reviewed web pages, an unhealthy dose of sunstroke, a dash of astrology and more cherries than you can poke a cocktail stick at. Seriously, if that’s the best they can do, the EPA’s ruling is on pretty safe ground.

I believe freedom, not climate, is at the heart of this issue. Whether we treat climate the way we always have in the past, or sacrifice more, choices, products, services and fuel for the reality of greater government control.

Of course you think that. You think global warming a political issue so you're fighting for the politics you believe in. The obvious fact that scientists around the world can't all agree politically is just one of many "hey wait a minute" thoughts that you'd rather not allow yourself.

Actually, if you've met many scientists, university professors or highly intelligent people in general, you must have noticed that a lot of them have strikingly independant ideas. It's sure rare to see any three of them agree on much.

In short, it may be a political issue in the U.S. but it can not be primarily a political issue. That is impossible because of the degree of agreement.

OF COURSE it's a political issue...otherwise you wouldn't see such a diverse amount of liars, I'm sorry I mean politicians, on board with the whole thing. One key to really knowing if something is a political issue or not is watching the politicians out there...doesn't matter whether they're Republicrats or Demicans...it's all the same, the liars want you to believe in some idea for their gain, whether it's Iraq, universal healthcare, global warming, terrorism, Afghanistan, it DOESN'T MATTER!!! What matters, to 'them' is you believe it, hook, line & sinker...'cause of you don't, you might start just thinking for yourself & taking care of your needs, like growing your own food & generating your own power & killing your own terrorists, then where would the need for the power-mongers, I'm sorry I mean government, be?

You can read the book "Climate Change Reconsidered" for free at:

http://www.nipccreport.org/index.html

The authors cite thousands of peer-reviewed research papers and books that were ignored by the IPCC. Again, the debate isn't over, yet lets tax everyone in the meantime and ruin the economy. That's a really great idea.
