Did dad (John Force) spin his tires on purpose to let his little girl win?

Just asking, since he rarely if ever looses traction at the line when going after other competitors.....

John likes to win. I seriously doubt he would throw the race. Ashley earned this!

No way, John is WAY to competative to throw a race.

Exactly! Plus she is number one in points! Why is it Amanda, that people think when a woman wins,it's given to her?****
She has been consistent for years, now it's her turn for a win,it took her i believe 27 starts to get a win,not bad! She has been in the semi-finals more than once and this win is well deserved as she beat out the top Funny car men fair and square! You can't just handle that beast going over 300 MPH and not know what the heck your doing! She kept it straight and had it under control when i thought she might get in the wall, nope she got that Beast right back in her control! It was amazing to watch the whole thing! She may just win this Championship and there is nobody that's giving her a thing for free, not even dear old Dad! He was complaining about something that the guys might have done and that left lane and that bump on that lane was giving people grief all day.If all of you were watching the whole day of NHRA racing you would know this.
Amanda, thank you for posting! I was not really directing this at you at all i hope you know that, but the people who obviously can't recognize that Ashley has talent and her Dad taught her everything she knows.Even the best "Male" Drivers were making mistakes out there in the Funny Car,Pro Stock and Top Fuel today! It was a day for some rookies and past winners who were in drought, what about them? Oh that's right, they are not women, did their opponents let them win? Some are best buddies!
Have a great night Amanda!

Yeah, John does tend to complain a bit when he loses. I didn't see the run, but I heard it was phenomenal.

I met John 2 years ago at Joliet, right after he had blown an engine in time trials. He alternated between yelling at the crew and smiling for the cameras. It was surreal...

Your welcome! I wanted to get Johns reaction but they went to commercial and it took time to upload the video on the race and it just got loaded after he told everyone that he had had a problem and i wanted to get that too since i knew everyone would think Dad gave it away for daughter, but no way would he do that and it's because it makes her tougher and wanting to win! They have that type of relationship that when they are on the strip,it's all about business and getting that win!
Nice to meet ya by the way ;-0)
