Time to bring 'white privilege' lesson home to its local origins

This is a country founded for and by Western Europeans, make no mistake.

Sociologist tell us that many who are completely law abiding citizens in their country of origin come to America and become lawless and criminals, look around you, why is that?

There is no "white priviledge" as the majority white population fought, died, worked and sacrificed under the mantel of manifest destiny as technology and those populations who developed and used it spread around the globe.

If Russia, Japan, China, Korea or the Middle east ruled the world as they intended or intent to do, I wonder what they would do, if demented jealous fools told them that they had "other race or color priviledge"?

How the Trib runs its business is up to them, I for one believe in freedom of speech as they choose to exercise it. Yet if they chose to set up operation in another country and agitated for the criminalization and dispossesion of the native population I have no doubt they would be imprisoned and perhaps with justification. Its sad to see the media, the intellegensia and the politcial class agitate for what the U.N. would classify as Genocide. The fact is England and Spain were two different cultures with two separate systems of laws and ways of seeing the world. Your ancestors, the Spanish, committed mass murder and genocide for several hundred years, and enslaved millions--long before English Puritans ever settled on the North American continent. The English did not do this when they colonized. You'll just have to live with that.

People of my own ancestry came to the North American continent long before the Spanish had boats that could sail across the Atlantic Ocean. They didn't plunder or steal. They explored, some stayed, most went back to Iceland, and to Europe. They didn't claim the land as their own.

I don't know what you're trying to get at with your rather weak "What IF" scenario. I can only assume you desperately want to show that the USA was founded by white dogs and white scum and so is not worthy of existing. Maybe you want the founders of the USA to share in the shame of what the Spanish did. "IFs" don't provide that--can't and never will.

The Spanish thought the natives worthless because they were heathen, and therefore not worthy of life--especially since the natives had gold and land the Spanish could steal. The Spanish thought themselves superior, and granted themselves the right to take a foreign land and kill the people of that land because they stood in the way. The United States is the most culturally diverse country in the entire world. We accept other cultures. We just don't like invaders who want to steal what we have. We're more like your natives in that way than you are.

There is ignorance on both sides of the colour issue.

When you read threads like would you adopt a white etc you realize how deep the hatred is for whites and history sure tells us that the white folk have been equally disgusting.

The truth is that in order for any semblance of equality to emerge there always had to be some whites that were prepared for that.

The politicians who pushed for abolition,equal rights etc. had to have white supporters in order to champion those causes because black people couldn't vote. There were white people on the underground railroad, there were quiet ordinary white folk who were too scared to speak out in the south because of the potential harm their own families might come to, not brave not courageous,not activists ( though some of those existed too) but maybe they prayed for blacks at bedtime. Maybe they just wished them well.
Now, lots of whites voted for Obama in the US and in other countries white people celebrated the occasion.
Not all whites have hated or abused blacks and not all blacks hate or abuse whites.
It is just a shame that those who slide into he hate game do.

It would seem that almost any race or nationality that arrives in the US eventually takes on a brand of American that is acknowledged as acceptable even the Irish! It usually takes two to three generations. In the meantime you can keep trying to bang it into them or let nature take its course including language training, etc.

I would feel comfortable saying that it took Ukrainian, Italian and Polish immigrants two to three generations to have entire fluent English speaking family members.
I think, you can correct me, that you are talking about groups of immigrants that are, at best, just starting to have their own children born in the US.By the time their children have children they will be the people that you point to as Americans who assimilated.
People use to point at those groups and complain about letting foreigners in who didn't use the language, share the holidays, get what being an American is about.
If you throw your own families origin in I will tell you how they were received and what kinds of things were said about them.

The only "white privilege" I have is paying taxes to support all of the black welfare parasites who engage in criminal behavior every day.
