Doctors aren't gods

This is regarding "Docs and secret shoppers" . I don't see anything wrong with sending in secret-shopper patients to check up on doctors' offices.

How do you know there was an emergency? If he's late because of a medical emergency, he should say so and not claimed he overbooked like it was an airline. Or is some honesty from doctors too much to ask?

one hour into your wait, you should have called everyone you know by cellphone and asked them to call the doctors office and leave a message for you.

Also contact everyone you had planned to have over at noon that day for a 'lunch party' and have them meet you in the waiting room for pizza, order a pizza to be delivered to the dr. office. that plus a number of roudy pre-schools and crying babies would have moved things along or at least annoyed the staff.

Ever try to call a doc office? what do you hear?...push one if you are a physician or hospital personnel, push 2 if you need to make an appointment, push 3 if you need a refill for your prescription, or 5 if you need to talk to the doctor or his nurse.(tells you where the patient ranks)

Push "1" you'll get the same people who answer all calls, but they'll think you're important! Works everytime!
