God bless Children's Memorial Hospital! We are all so lucky that this wonderful hospital is here in Chicago, ready to take care of our kids when we need it most!

Let's just write about all those kids, who's getting hit by the ball everyday.
We have nothing important going on in this country and the world anyway.

Yeah they will, for a big price. Hope the kid has insurance. Or maybe he is one of the uninsured struggling masses in Bush's America.

I keep telling myself that, but where was He the night before yesterday in that alley in Auburn Gresham? Did He care then? If He cared, why didn't He do anything?
Answer me that.
God works in mysterious ways. The little girl's death, while tragic, is not the fault of God. It's the fault of the creep who, with the free will that God gives every one of us, decided to kill her. We'll never truly know why.

God gives you the free will to not believe in Him. He gives us all the power to make our own decisions. Some people, unfortunately, don't have the capacity to make a correct decision, as in the case of Mya's murderer.

I doubt prayer had anything to do with it. Maybe it was the doctors? Does your God actually not help unless people pray for him to, or does he/she jump in when he thinks it is right?

He was a Cubs fan to begin with so the search for a brain just took a little longer.

Question: how many ho mo's does it take to turn over a car? I don't know, but we'll find out if the Cubs win the World Series.

Actually they can't. By paying his bills they would be admitting liability.
Not at all. The Cubs would certainly require a Release of all Claims with any payment. That would say that this is for settlement only, and does not go as an admission of liability. Kid's parents get bills paid, Cubs get a Release, everyone's happy.

Good for this kid. A massive blow to the head usually creates a Sox fan.
Yup it sure does. Knocks some sense into them.

God must have been on Vacation that day. All you religious creeps who see a GOOD thing out of this, are crutch-needing fools who can't make their own decisions. If this kid had brain damage, or gets a brain tumor, or just dies in his bed, the **** religion fanatics will claim some divine reason for a young boy going through all that misery. It should happen to them, then maybe they would pray less, and be more self sufficient.

Cub Girl: Let me guess you are a student at Loyola or Northwestern & you live in Lincoln Park & go to Cubs games to sit in the Bleachers & lift up your shirt while sitting with the rest of the College Crowd & talk on your cell phones.....am I right?
Nope. Actually, I graduated from USC, I have never sat in the bleachers, I don't intend to. When I go to the games, I'm usually in the 200's section, I don't flash anyone and I'm not on my cell phone at all, but thanks for playing!
