Kaneland High School closed due to vandalized buses

Kaneland High School was closed Friday because School District 302's buses were vandalized.

These type of incidents are known to happen frequently in the schools of Northwest Indiana. Including Lowell High School. School buses are not well liked they prefer to be driven to school or have a vehicle of their own. Often when one gets a vehicle they jam it with friends to drive around while out drinking and smoking and drugs. This is all harder to do on school buses. Being a school bus driver anywhere is dangerous for the passengers are not into going to school and their studies some just pretend to be to glamour the parents into buying them things and getting away with future vandalisms and fights and racism and all the bad only a few of us don't like to see. We personally know of a girl who is about 12 years old who started her attitude at age 8. Parents thought it was a defensive personality being she is a girl and who is intelligent at school. If your child does not show any type of morals she will not be able to learn a better attitude as she ages. We believe she will lead a group of girls who will have the potential of beating others and creating vandalism and fights among boys. She likes to fight and hit babies and toddlers. This is not a tomboy although her parents may think it is. We just hope that police authorities get a hold of her soon before another crowd of them gather to think things out on how to physically hurt others and how to steal for money. Oh yeah. Grown men fall over her even though she is 12 years old and she doesn't get along with grown women because she has lust over men. Police have a lot of work to do then just get a couple of leads as to who flatten out the tires of these buses. They might have to find this 12 year old girl or others girls like her.
And that is my lead we thought we were right.
Also, another tip to authorites Like mother like child.
Very easy. Just walk into the classroom the homeroom teacher will show no concern when authorities enter the classroom. Teachers and the Principal of the schools are very aware of who they are you don't have to spent $$$ to investigate this petty case. Close up your case paying more attention on getting a hold of the 12 year girls playing this game who will lead right into your door if you don't put a Stop to it, Officer and Sergeants don't look the other way.
You must know there are only a few parents who don't support these incidents and they will be behind your backs maybe your corn acres if they have to go outhere and get her! Just get the right one. In the meantime I will continue to search if this girl is in the custody of authorites but hey maybe just letting her and her friends get away from it might be much more fun to see who she becomes the woman she wants to be Shania Twain. lol You don't want her and her swimming pool summer friends to sing at your picnic. It's not a headache it will be more than that when you get to your big shot authority car and you will find it with a 12 year old girl inside waiting for you to start the car and take her out for a ride while her parents ride behind you laughing. Very easy to target these girls and women and their men. Do your job for carefully and proudly don't bulge over them you need support from the juvenile courts and those judges work on it.

Obviously they have too much time on their hands. Get them jobs and make them pay for damages out of their own pockets. Do not let the parents pay. These kids need to learn there are always repercussions.

first it may be bathroom stalls,
then busses, but whats next?!
we need to prevent this, and fight it!

we need to have 'anti-gang' groups at school, and 'anti-drug' groups
and we need to take action NOW! before it gets too far.

This is now going to cost the Dist. 302 residents to buy new tires. Anyone who understands how large truck tires work... the side wall will crack in cold weather when folded over. It's not like you can go to Firestone and buy new ones. They have to be ordered and depending on if they're a simple front tire or a rear dually tire means they could cost between $400 and $800 per tire. Do the math... while a prank, it's a prank that wasn't well thought out and these kids either need to be expelled or charged with felony vandalism. Kids learn nothing today and I blame poor parenting and supervision on this one.

I'm a firefighter near by and yes... we've seen gang tagging around there before. It's not a big shock... we came across a LARGE meth lab in the elburn/maple park area last year.

They are not of a private company.. they are owned by Kaneland Dist. 302. I know this for a fact...

Okay. In most districts, the buses are private. Regardless, the taxpayers will foot the bill for this, so it's not a prank.

If my quick research is correct, the offender(s) could be charged with criminal damage to state-supported property, and depending on the cost of the damage, it would be a Class 3 or Class 2 felony. I'm not an attorney and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn, I just used Google. Time to put up a fence around the bus yard, which is the direction most districts are going.
