To The Editor: Let me start by refreshing your mind that during Christmas 2010 at our White House Obama had a tree ornament of Karl Marx's hanging on a Christmas tree.

Ok wait. back up. First of all i looked online and couldn't find this supposed karl marx ornament, but that's besides the point. Having a Karl Marx ornament makes you Muslim? Do you seriously not understand the difference between Muslims and Communists? Why does the Free Post Standard post these ridiculous conspiracy-theory-riddled letters?!

Katie, it's just facts. Look at history: Andrew Jackson- wrote the constitution and said this country should be founded on GOD and the citizens should trust in our LORD. Dwight D. Eisenhower - won WW2 single-handedly with nothing but a bible and crucifix. That's just to name a couple of the great, white, Christian men who made this country great. And now OBAMA wants to ruin it and turn it into a fascist, communist, Muslim country. NOT OVER MY DEAD BODY HE AINT!

Some things to consider:
Most of the founding fathers were deists.
Eisenhower won the war with the help of millions of East Europeans who fought on the Eastern front.
Fascism and communism are not synonyms.

Do you not realize that the comments you make--racist, biased, and intolerant--make you no different than the radical faction of any religious group, including the radical Muslims you denounce.

I suggest you all read some books and stop spreading falsehoods and hate. You are the ones leading this country in the wrong direction.

This Country seems to have been going in the proper direction until recently within the last few years. Go figure that one out. Years ago, we didn't have Muslims crashing our own aircraft into buildings. And look at all the problems over there in the African nations. What, we started that? No! Those countries over there suddenly discovered that they can become rich with the oil on their land by selling it to the world for ridiculous prices. Then they got greedy and found out that with money comes power. One day, they're living in tents and going to the village on the backs of camels and the next day, after an oil well is erected in their back yard full of sand, they're driving to the village in their brand new Mercedes.
And something that people here aren't really grasping yet is, enemies have tried to take over the world with wars, like Hitler and the Japanese tried 70 some years ago. Now, those sand land nations discovered that trying to start a war to take over this Country isn't going to work so, what's the next best thing? Send their people over here to live and to multiply. After they get a big enough population here, and have voting rights, who do you think they're going to want to vote in for President? A white guy? Black? Hispanic? No! A Muslim! Then we'll all have to face Mecca at certain times a day and pray to Allah!
Yeah. I know there's a few of you out there thinking that this is all nuts. Let me know what you think after you see your grand kids within the next 30 years having to wear turbans and burkas.

Take a history lesson: Those were the Southern Democrats ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Democra... ), whose values are contrary to the modern Democratic party, and who largely switched political affiliations in the 1960s after the Civil Rights Act.

Are you joking? One of the main tenets of Communism is that religion is the opiate of the masses! Marx and Engels believed that religion was a hinderance of Communist enlightenment. Commuinism and Islam are entirely incompatible.

Katie, the Democrats are certainly racist, her's why. Education, if the party sincerely wished to help the minority children they would embrace school choice. But that would offend the teacher's union on which they depend for financial support. African American interests are sacrificed to other groups who have more pull.
Affirmative action, has become the touchstone of the Democratic racial politics. Anyone who apposes it is racist according to them. It is based on the assumption that African Americans are incapable of competing with whites. They think blacks are incapable of freedom. They will alway's need Ol'Massa's help. And woe be any to to wonders off the Democratic plantation. Ask Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sawell, Shelby Steele, and Ward Connerly. Although they echo the call for a colorblind society that once charactorized Martin Luther King Jr., they are pilloried as "Uncle Toms" of "Oreo" by such enforcers of the Democratic plantation system as Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. They call Republicans th racists to make everyone equal and pull the African Americans out of poverty by helping themselves achieve success.

Katie, Historicaly the Republicans have died to get equal rights for the blacks. Why would they change? I thinks it's the other side portaying them that way to keep the minority vote.
