My thoughts go out to the family and fathers of the children. This is a sad situation, and I'm sorry She felt this was her last option. May her dear sweet children RIP!

There were other options. This mother and others should realize that. She should have been a real mother and stepped up when things got tough and got them out of whatever situation they were in. My heart goes out to the families, fathers, and classmates of the little girl. Nobody should make the decision to end an innocent child's life

If the names are not yet released, then WHY are you putting in the Grandfathers name? They are trying to notify family still. Please take that down!!

Way to go, FPS...you say you aren't going to release the names, but you release that it was at David Hallett's house. Hmmm...I wonder which 24-year old who would be residing at the Hallett house this could be? I hope their fam doesn't read this before being notified.

The FPS is a wannabe. Big fish in a small pond...'something this serious.'Unbelievable. But try to write a letter to the editor about local business and they won't publish it. They tell you up front on the website!
On the side more important than the fps, it's a crying shame 'someone didn't know or couldn't help before it was too late........

well check facebook-it's all over facebook as well... so much for being able 2 notify the poor fathers. there are always other options in life. there really isn't anything that could justify the loss people are suffering right now from losing those babies-all 3 of them. no matter what she's being morned by her parents as well

Carroll County has such a consciousness Sheriff that works so hard 24/7, 365 to make the county safe and to help the people, 'loves his job, and is very successful at his work. Yet, with a man of his making, so committed and still so sensitive, 'such a an occurrence as this certainly must be most humbling.

I just watched the Coverage from WTOV 9 It was a lot more disturbing than what the paper has written here!!! If your going to criticize and chastise make sure you have all the information! They only published the information the Sheriff gave them!

Amanda -- I agree with you that no one should ever, EVER, choose to end a child's life. The rest of your post is insensitive and judgmental. You have no idea what this young woman was dealing with. This was a horrific tragedy today, and will always be a tragedy for this family. To imply that she should have been "a real mother" shows nothing but callousness and contempt. I will pray that you never experience what this poor woman must have. It's easy to judge when it's not you. Shame on you.

Community Member,
Do you know this girl? I did and she was crazy, should have had her kids removed from her custoday a long time ago. It is a real tragedy that could have been diverted had people paid attention to what kind of person/mother she was...

First of all this is such a tragedy and my thoughts go out to the family. Why get down on the FPS, they are only reporting what has happened. If you want to see photos go to cantonrep.com , they have photos of the family posted. So, what makes the difference who the grandfather is. From the posts here, everyone knows she is anyway.

TO ALL OF YOU GUYS SHE DID THE WORST THING A MOTHER COULD DO! I TALK TO HER A FEW WEEKS AND SHE SAID SHE SAID "WAS UNHAPPY WITH HER LIFE AND THE ARMY. AND ABOUT THE BABY'S FATHERS". BUT DIDNT THINK SHE WOULD DO THIS! BUT SHE SHOULDNT DONE WHAT SHE DID! WHY JUST BECAUSE SHE'S UNHAPPY WITH ALL THAT SHE COULD OF MADE IT BETTER BY GIVING HER KIDS A CHANCE TO LIFE. AND RAISING THEM WITHOUT THE DRAMA IN HER LIFE!
