In Burlingame, doubling the price is very acceptable to the residents. They pay double the price of water and sewer rates compared the East Bay. Doubling the price of the recycling plant is to be expected. Since the mayor of Burlingame is the chair of the BAWSCA water board, this is the norm. Delays, price doubling and more utility taxes so union workers get raises as the things the residents need are being ignored; like 100 miles od sewer lines. Recycling is a must, as we run out of dumping grounds. Is this another way to jack up this price tag, to get money for other useage? Bond money is always used for other things. What happened to prop. 84 and 1E water and flood bond money? Why does the governor need 9 billion more for water projects when they have 9 billion from those two bonds. Where's the money? What special interest group got it?
Why aren't the people who report the wrong quotes, fired from the city planning, when the price doubles? That should be address. The people who give the wrong information shouldn't be doing those jobs, when their quotes are that off! How would they like it if their pay checks were cut for their incompetancy?
